I’ve now tried every trick in the book multiple times and NOTHING. Fitbit hasn’t even given an update as to whether or not this can be fixed at all. It’s been a week for me now and I hate having to turn on my text message preview just to get notifications. I’m a huge Fitbit fan but I’m now considering getting an Apple Watch. Give us an update!!!!!!

So extremely frustrating. I updated on Sunday and I can receive every other type of notification except a text message. I've contacted Fitbit and they were extremely unhelpful. It's a shame that Fitbit is such a large company and cannot come up with a different solution aside from wait for an update. My Chewy.com app updates more than Fitbit and Apple's already sent out an additional update to fix bugs. What are you doing Fitbit??? I should have gotten an Apple Watch instead.

I have an Android phone. My fit bit keeps giving me LOTS of multiple event notifications when nothing is on my calendar. How do I clear?

On your iPhone, try this
-go to settings
—then notifications
—then messages
—under the options section click on show previews.
*select either “when unlocked” or “always”
Hope that helps.

PeterJC - your suggestion does work. Fitbit still needs to figure out how to get this working in private mode as it has always done before.

I updated to iOS 13 and not only do I not receive text notifications, my FitBit app keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth so my Blaze can receive notifications. My Bluetooth is ON! I can't even follow the resolution provided because my phone and Fitbit aren't connecting at all. PLEASE HELP!

Been having the same problem since I did the iOS 13 update. Finally called Fitbit yesterday to troubleshoot and they let me know that Fitbit text notifications are not compatibile with the iOS 13 software. They said they’re aware of the issue and have been working to resolve it but couldn’t give me a time frame of when it will be fixed. I wish I never updated to iOS 13...

I have the versa and have had the same issue. I followed the instructions however had no joy!
I tried on my iPhone forgetting the device in the Bluetooth setting and repairing. This has seemed to solve the problem and I am now getting message notifications again,
hope this helps

What about what’s app? No one seems to have a fix for that.
