@Jcnaga

I had to show previews on texts to get it to work. I had previews turned off. So I set it to when unlocked and my Fitbit started alerting me.

hope this helps

No, not yet! Tried all these suggestions and still not showing texts. Notifications for calls are working though

I was ready to take mine back after I tried several suggestions, but removing the Fitbit app from my phone and then going to App Store and getting it again did the trick.  It synced with Bluetooth and the time corrected, as well.

Give it a try.  Good luck!

I’m having the same issues with my charger 2 and I phone 7plus. Tried everything with no success.

@Jennif4 Tried that as well, no luck.

I have turned things on then off.  I have closed out of apps, I have re-downloaded the app.  I have given my Versa a hard restart. Feel like I have done everything.  Currently waiting for my Versa to run out of batteries, heard that may help?

@Higgseybaby  Same with mine!  My Versa is connected to my phone, so Bluetooth works. So strange to receive phone call notifications but not Texts or Reminders 😕

I’m experiencing the exact same thing, did you get yours sorted? If so how did you do it?!

My Fitbit would not sync after upgrade to iOS 13. After trying everything else I completely deleted the App and disconnected the device and reinstalled from the App Store. That worked (and no data loss)

Good luck

I did resolve it. Someone suggested removing the Fitbit app from the phone and then going back to the App Store and getting it again. THAT did the trick for me. Everything else I tried did not work.

Good luck!

Try opening the app from Settings. That gave me an option to turn Bluetooth on for the Fitbit app. The issue doesn’t seem to be with any devices. Not sure why Fitbit is having difficulty explaining this to all their users. They seem to be making it more complicated. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Not resolved. I am replacing the old Flex hoping that this is part of the problem (yes, I know others are having problems with later models but my flex also fails to connect with my desktop which has the older, High Sierra OS).

Joshi0504 thank you for that. But before I delete I have to ask did you lose any stats on the phone?  Mine is a charger 3. I guess that doesn’t make a difference. I tried like you did and keeps telling me to turn on my Bluetooth. Which it is on!  I’m on my 4th day of it not syncing to the phone since the ISO 13 update. I think we have till 7th day to sync?  Thank you in advance. I’ll wait for your response.

Tried doing a factory reset on my Versa to no avail this morning.  I also had let the battery run all the way down and then recharged it.  Neither of these worked.

Randomly looked at the Fitbit app this afternoon and a new update was available for my Versa.  After trying several times to do the update, it finally let me do it through WiFi.  When it was finished and repaired with my phone, the text message notifications FINALLY WORKED.

So maybe go check the app for an update.  I hope this is a permanent fix. Will keep everyone posted!

Removing the app does not lose your info because it is saved in your account.

This worked - make sure to check your Bluetooth settings next to the Alta - There is an “information” or “I” next to connection. Click that and ensure “Share system notifications” is on...I tested it and it works (at least today ☺️).

All my data was there.
Make sure you remember your username and password to sign back on.
Allow connection to blootooth
Sync
Then go to notification
That worked for me.
Good luck
