I downloaded the latest iOS version 13.0 and now my Charge 2 will not sync. please help

I have a Fitbit Flex 2 which was working fine (synch's, receive alerts for text and phone calls), but after upgrading to IOS 13, the alerts have stopped working. I am able to synch, but no alerts.
I've tried all of the suggestions here, forgetting the device, reinstalling the app, toggling the notification settings, etc....
Seems that Fitbit needs an update to the app to be compatible with this new version of IOS.
Is there any ETA?

Well, since the Fitibit app update, I am able to get the message notifications on my Charge 2, but only if I have Preview set to Always. It's not ideal, but it's a step in the right direction.

Yes i was given that reply on the 12th October. I really thought technology had moved on it seems that Fitbit have not moved with the times.

I have completed the instructions re booted phone turned off blue tooth removed device etc and my phone still cannot find my blaze. It has been working fine until the recent iOS 13 update. I have pressed left hand and lower right hand button still no joy can you help

Hi i am not sure as i receive weekly emails from fitbit which gave me the stats anyway.

I use a VPN for my computer, I add it every time I log in. I just added Norton security to my phone. I have not added IOS13.1.3 as yet and plan to hold off on adding that as long as possible.
