I know this is a known problem with fitbit, but in order to get text notifications on my watch i need to allow preview notifications on my iPhone which i DO NOT want and never had to do in the past.  Am i doing something wrong?

I understand your having notification issue and your allow preview is something you do not want. Currently notifications are a known issue.
