Update 9/17/2019: We have released iOS app version 3.6.1 to all users. Please update your app to this version. It is recommended to all experiencing continuous crashes and should resolve this issue.

Hi Everyone - I've merged several posts together.

We're aware of an issue that may cause some iOS users to experience a continuous crash when trying to open the app after updating to version 3.6.

To resolve this, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. Even if you have tried this previously, please try again.

If this does not work, our team is working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Seems like more pre upgrade testing is in order. Seems like the last few updates have been trouble to me.

My app is the most recent version. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded. My device is still bricked. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Agree just spoke again with FitBit thats 3hrs on the phone today. They have got an Apple patch but have done nothing for android since 27th August!!!!!!!. They are going to email me why they have a solution.

What annoys me when I called my problem was a versa 2 Alexa issue everything else was ok. they still told me to delete the Today app from my phone even though they must have know I could not reload it.

Thanks for responding to me.  I should have said I have an Apple iPhone. It sounds like I better not uninstall for now and wait for the patch.  I was just starting to use another one of the features too!  Oh well, there's always writing things down by hand.  Thanks again!

Lovely!  Well, I know for sure now NOT to uninstall and reinstall.  I guess I have to wait it out.  Thanks so much for getting back to me.

It wasn't me who suggested anything, but I'm glad it's now working.  Maybe there's hope for the rest of us.

Not sure if the problem I am having has to do with this - I did the update had some issues deleted the app & readded.  all was working fine - now my phone says it can't detect my fitbit which last synced at 8:08am today - I did the update a few days ago & it worked fine for those days.  Any suggestions?  TY

I'm having the same problem but I didn't manually update my app.  It seems it updated automatically and now I am having the same problems everyone else is.  Hopefully, a patch will come out soon and we can get back to tracking.

Then that's what happened to me.  Great.  Now just wait until they fix it, I guess.

I don't know.  I'm afraid of the same thing, and am not going to try - at least not for now.

Nope, mine is still crashing.  I restarted my phone twice.  Do I have to uninstall and re-install now?  Will I lose all my data?
