Will clearing the data delete my history permanently? Or will my exercise history be restored once I login again?

I don’t want to clear my data. I did it about a week ago. I want to track my steps. Is there a way to get your steps info from pervious days from the Fitbit? I know I can log the steps on a piece a paper but I haven’t yet.

Clearing all data sounds like it will delete my past 4 and half years of information and I will have to start all over as a beginning user. If I have to do this I may as well find a different product that doesn't crash every time I open the exercise tile.

Followed this advice but it's still crashing on the exercise tile 🥴

Mine was doing the same thing, so I followed the moderator's instructions and now it's working. Hope it continues and I don't have to keep doing it as other people have stated. Never had a problem but then, the Versa just updated a few days ago and now this happened. Started on the 25th of April for me. Ugh!

I tried the clear data solution, which allowed me to open the exercise tile, but now I get a spinning circle whenever I click on any tile to view more data. Is there a solution for that? Or just wait and it will eventually finish?
Update: I tried logging out of the app and now can't log back in. Still getting spinning circle.
Thanks

The same is happening to me when I open the exercise tile. I see that your advice is to "clear data". I really don't want to do this as I don't want to lose all of my progress and badges that I have collected and worked so hard for nearly a year to achieve. This would be very disheartening. Is there any other solution to fix it rather than lose a years worth of progress?

Mine doesn’t crash, instead when I press to add exercise or even see what I have done the app is unresponsive!
