It seems that according to the sticky topic on this (Android app) forum, the latest Android version is 3.9.1., although some of us have already got 3.10.1.
I'm mentioning this because I've just checked the iOS forum, where 3.10 is mentioned as the latest version (there).

Now, on the iOS 3.10 version one of the notes refers to this, as a change: "Conversations are now threaded in the Fitbit app."

With 3.10.1 installed on my Android phone, I have now checked and I can confirm that this change is present here, too ! I'm guessing that this was introduced with 3.10, but I hadn't checked then.
Anyway, Threaded Conversations is actually a new and welcome change.

I just wish the devs would put a pause to the "new" stuff, and focus on fixing all the issues we have been having with the current app versions.

Still don't have 3.10.1 version showing on Play Store so maybe Fitbit is rolling it out slowly.   I had 3.9 and 3.9.1 available but didn't update since they both had the same ongoing issues.  Never saw 3.10 available either.

Connected GPS inaccuracies (distance, pace, etc). "The connected GPS starts playing up badly with incorrect distances measured". People have now tested this with 3.10.1 and confirmed the issue is still not fixed.

To sum it up: 3.10.1 version of Fitbit app tested on my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Android 8.0.0).

Bugs reported below:

1) When I try to add friends to Challenges, they show up with a status of "No recent activity". All of them. Bug reported here. Bug still not fixed on 3.10.1 . This might be a server-side bug, actually. Latest test & confirmation here.

2) Elevation Gain in activities is reported and always shows (wrongly) as zero (0). Bug reported here and hereTested here on a Walk activityThe bug is also still unresolved with 3.10.1. Latest test & confirmation here.

3) Connected GPS inaccuracies (distance, pace, etc). "The connected GPS starts playing up badly with incorrect distances measured"Bug reported herehere and here (this is another "must read" report).
Not fixed with 3.10.1 ! (other reports here and here). More than 11 pages of discussion & detailed troubleshooting at this topic.

4) Fitbit App - "View All Posts" link does not display ALL posts by a user, but ONLY the last 5 of them. Bug reported here and confirmed by me here. (Version 2.90 of the app also tested and it does not have this issue ! Version 3.10.1 still has this bug).

I updated yesterday evening as well.  Had to clear the cache, force stop the app, then add my Versa as a new device for it to sync correctly and receiving notifications.

It's been working ok....have had to do some troubleshooting.  Receiving calls but texts / notifications are coming in sporadically not like the previous versions where they were coming in on both the phone and Versa simultaneously.

so after futzing around i noticed fitbit had been installed on my SD card (even tho formatted as internal storage)
so after much data movment and reformatting that card to external the app was able to launch, of course i dont have my charger at work so i guess ill report back if i have sync issues

How's the stability of this version?  Syncing...notifications.

Have any of the other bugs you reported with the previous versions been addressed?

Are the syncing and notifications working as they should be?  Please advise.

With the overlapping in activities,  I didn't have this issue in 3.10.1.  So it may be a resolution setting on the phone.  Will install and check once I hear back from you on the syncing and notifications for this version.

See picture.

So far sync and notifications seem ok.
Will post if anything changes in the next few days.
