I recently got the Pixel 3 and I am trying to pair my Fitbit Alta to it. The Alta is not even recognized as a connectible device. I understand from reading here that the Pixel 3 is not a supported device yet. However, when I go to your site of compatible devices (https://www.fitbit.com/devices) in one area it is not listed and yet in another it is listed as compatible (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315). Any ideas which is correct and how I can get my Alta to pair with my Pixel 3?
Hello all,
My ionic can't seem to connect with my pixel 3 XL. I'm trying the initial pairing. The devices will occasionally see each other and I've had the numbers pop up on the ionic to enter on the app on the pixel. But it is never able to go further than that. Very frustrating. I have:
1. Restarted both devices several times.
2. Removed all synched devices from the pixel.
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
4. Sacrificed a chicken
Nothing matters. Can anyone help?!?

Hello @AAM_Leeds. Welcome to the Forums @Slownavyguy and @Kepi39.
I apologize for the delay in my response.
In this case, @Kepi39, the help article is correct and the Pixel 3 is now a supported device. Having said that, we are aware of an issue that is causing syncing issues with Android 9 and that could be what is happening in your cases. Whenever we have any news or updates on the matter it will be posted in this thread.
@AAM_Leeds Glad to read that everything seems to be working correctly for you. Be sure to visit one of our Discussion boards if you have the the time.

Best AnswerI have to agree that Pixel 3 is not compatible with my Fitbit zip. I can't get the zip to sync through the pixel 3 Bluetooth. I can get the zip to sync through my laptop.
Interestingly, I had a problem with a previous Android until a patch came through which fixed some issue related to Android comms with low power Bluetooth devices. Hmmm....
Best AnswerWhen will Fitbit resolve this issue with new androids? I am not able to receive any notifications on my Fitbit which was the entire point of me purchasing it.
I suddenly started receiving notifications!
Best AnswerThe Pixel 3 is not on the list of compatible devices. I want to know the time table for when Fitbit will send out an update to the firmware for the Blaze so that it will sync with my phone.
Best AnswerI also just received my FitBit Versa and it is having a hard time syncing with my Google Pixel 3. My Pixel 3, like others on here, doesn't even recognize the Versa as a device to pair with on Bluetooth. I understand it's an Android 9 issue but looking at the posts since October and it's now January; makes me wonder if it's worth the hassle to wait it out until the Android 9 issue is resolved? Very conflicted.

Hello everyone!
I apologize for the delay in my response.
As I have mentioned, the Pixel 3 is now a compatible device. If it is not working with your Fitbit it is not related to the compatibility and more related to an issue in your particular situation. It could indeed be caused by the phone or the Fitbit. My suggestion if you are experiencing syncing issues would be to try to follow the steps listed in this help article.
It is also possible that it is related to a known issue with Android 9. You can click here to read more about it.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Not possible at the moment.
Best AnswerWhile Pixel 3 is added as a compatible device it still lacks the MobileTrack feature. Will this feature be added?
Best AnswerStill doesn't work for me today. I'm switching to Samsung

Hello @Slownavyguy, @m4rc2009 and @awaitforitb.
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Be sure to support this suggestion to add MobileTrack to Pixel 3. Commenting on it or voting for it is a great way to show that you'd like to see that implemented. If you have the time maybe you could read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for bringing that up @SunsetRunner, let me help you figure out what is going on.
The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article to make sure that notifications are working properly. Be sure to check permissions and everything. Also, remember that you will only get the name of the caller if you have it as a contact on your phone.
