Fitbit Update 02/28/2017: As this issue was resolved with the release of the Fitbit app for Android, version 2.41 I will be closing this thread.
If you run into this issue in a new instance, please create a new post in the Android board and reference this thread. Thank you!
Fitbit Update 01/26/2017: We've just released the Fitbit app for Android, version 2.41 which includes a fix for the issue where the new Dashboard is not updating stats after sync.
Please update to the latest version of the app and let me know if the issue has been resolved for you. Looking forward to hearing your updates! Thanks for the continued patience.
Fitbit Update 11/21/2016: Some Android users who have opted-in to the new Android Dashboard redesign experience have reported that their Dashboard is not updating their steps and other stats after a successful sync.
Our Android team is aware of this issue with the preview and is currently investigating the root cause. In the meantime, I recommend logging into the Fitbit.com online Dashboard, completing a sync, and confirming that your step activity is updating in the activity log tab.
In addition, you can temporarily switch back to the old Dashboard to see instant updates. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click on the "Account Tab" in the new Dashboard design.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select the "Advanced Settings" option.
- Click on "Switch back to the Dashboard" button at the top.
I will be sharing status updates here, so keep an eye out for more news.

My biggest issue is I get a dozen different how to's from a dozen different tech support personnel. I would appreciate one or two people working together to try and help me.

The updated Android App, is appalling. It is so slow to update. I am getting fed up with the fitbit and dreadful lack of development. So much so, I am thinking of just ditching it altogether.

Hi,
Engineers are looking to replicate the problem and need some assistance.
Is anyone able to post a video or exact steps to show us how the issue is triggered?
Thanks,
Zhu

@ZhuFitbit, as an electronics engineer, I believe the problems being reported here are hardware/software platform related - some Android devices work flawlessly, and other Android devices seem to be either very slow or refuse to connect at all. I have both a ZTE K88 Tablet running Android 6.0, and a HTC One M9 phone running Android 6.0, and both of them connect every time and sync within a minute, and within a very short time of the sync the stats on the dashboard update.
With the feedback you receive to your request, you will probably want to annotate the hardware/software for that feedback.

Larry,
No wonder you are able to so succinctly discuss these problems, so thank you. I have a Galaxy Note 4 running 6.0. When connected to my laptop, my Charge HR is still not syncing correctly. Other than stating what I and many people all ready have, we appreciate that the Engineers at Fitbit are working hard to correct everything.

@RealtorGerri- If you can provide exact steps and screen captures of what is happening as @ZhuFitbit requested along with the hardware/software info, I am sure the Fitbit engineers will be able get to the bottom of the problems.

I will do my best to comply. I hope that other people will try to do this as well. Thank you Larry.

* Plug your charging cable into your computer.
* Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
* Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
* Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.
