Update 2/1/2021: This issue was resolved with the release of android app version 3.37.1. We appreciate your reports and patience as we worked on a resolution.
Update 1/29/2021: We've released Android app version 3.37.1 to address syncing issues. Please update your device if you are experiencing issues syncing. Thanks again for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue.
Update 1/28/2021: We are still working on this issue and hope to have a fix real soon. We will update this thread as soon as we have more information. Thanks again for your reports and patience.

will go back to Garmin. Funny thing when I was deciding on a new tracker I
went back and forth between fitbit and garmin. I chose fitbit because of
familiarity etc....and the so far good service and zero issues....famous
last words...

My problem exactly. I now have a very expensive Sense watch which won't reconnect at all to my phone.

Too late. Every time you release an update there is a problem. It is completely unprofessional to release updates without having conducted appropriate testing. I have had enough and ordered a Garmin Vivoactive. My Ionic will be listed on Ebay and Marketplace this weekend. Goodbye Fitbit and goodbye Google.

i think most if not all of us have jumped thru proverbial hoops doing what was suggested over and over and over again....making it seem like its something we did wrong. I have worked in customer service for over 40 years ( now retired) and I would have asked the customer to sit tight while I investigated - and then would have gone back to report - no knee jerk responses that made no sense.

It is affecting 3.36 too because mine stopped syncing on Sunday and I hadn't had the update to 3.37 yet.

Despite all the great advice, the issue remains. I have done everything that was recommended. I still lose pairing daily, sometimes multiple times. I have had various Fitbits over the years and this has never been an issue. Still wondering why it is happening now. Seems it has increased since I got my new iPhone 12. It is an easy fix when it happens, but it is annoying.

It appears that the new Google ownership is not as fast in resolving
problems as before. This is an immediate block to synching with any
android phone.

How long is it going to take to be fixed. My fitbit sense hasn't synced since 1.05am. I have nothing but problems with this model now and still awaiting a response to emails from November. ECG hasn't been tracking, temperature and sleep tracking are very temperamental. Used to think Fitbit was a brilliant brand now I have major doubts.

I'm having the same problem with my Android phone. In the meantime, I am now synching with my IPOD Touch. I at least have my Apple product while I wait for the Android phone to synch.

In trying to go through the resolution steps, I unpaired my tracker from my phone. Now it won't pair at all.
