I'm starting to wish I chose a Garmin.  Too many problems, very little help.

Do we know how long this will take to fix?

The Charge 3 had a chronic synchronizing problem.  Wonder if Google knew about Fitbit's engineering and customer service problems before it decided to shell out $2 billion.

When did it stop pairing and when did you receive a replacement?

How long is this going to take? We pay WAY too much money for these trackers and premium to have this issue- Fitbit is really going to **ahem**.

Best Answer

Agreed.  A watch is a far easier replacement than a phone.  Fitbit has lost its mind.

Then whay does it tell me that ' Bluetooth Pairing and Linking ' , then unable to pair, try again?

Best Answer

How long is this expected to take? Its already been 2 days. I have an android and it will not sync with Fitbit.

What are we supposed to do?

I'm having the same issue. It finds the phone sometimes but then won't connect. I removed the tracker from the App and now can't set it up. I might need to install the app on my Ipad until this is resolved. Some suggestions were to remove the tracker and reinstall. I hope this gets fixed soon.

I've been experiencing the same issue since this morning. Had a sync issue so decided to unpair the device and try a repair.
The pairing wasn't going through. Tried doing everything in the book to get it working. Nothing worked.

Then I phoned fitbit support and went through an hour of troubshooting after which they indicated that I need to wait for a software update because there is an issue with the software which is preventing the sync and pairing. They said they do not know when the update will be avilable but have to wait for it.

So in the interim, I cannot use the device.

Depends on the device. Most of them it is located under Settings and then
About.

Does this pertain to Ionic's also? Both mine and my wife's have also stopped syncing since the update. They have worked flawlessly since we bought them in July 2019. Our phones are Moto G6's......

Having the same problem as everyone. Fitbit won't sync. Very frustrating. Please fix it fast, if this is not possible, refund or send a new watch to everyone that have this problem.

Affects Me Too. I even removed the tracker from the app and now can't reconnect. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I have had a Versa 2 for two weeks. It initially synced with my android Samsung smartphone. But on Jan.26, 2021 it simply stopped syncing. I have tried resetting the watch to factory reset, uninstalling the fitbit app etc. Nothing works. The devices will simply not sync any longer.

Can Fitbit supply me with a refund of $239.00 CAD ?
