My fitbit app wouldn't work with my new Samsung Galaxy S7 (Marshmellow) due to syncing issues. I just reset my fitbit (plug it into laptop/wall charger and hold button on left side for approx 10seconds until fitbit symbol appears, then unplug it). App worked instantly! 🙂

The one thing unnoticed is that you say you deleted your account, this can only be done by support and requires contacting them, you do not have the ability to do thiis your setup to a Fitbit account you won't be able to sync until it is.

I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. My Samsung Galazy 7 does not give me text or call notifications. I've uninstalled and installed everything I can. Gave the permissions as suggested. Still nothing. Not a very happy camper!!!!!!!!!!

@MikeM1962 have you checked the phones sound settings. Make sure notifications on lock screen is set to Allowed. Now go into the application notifications and check the notifacation settings of the apps.
Now open notification access and make sure Fitbit has access to read notifacations.
Now go back into the fitbit app, double church the notifacation settings. While your there tap the 3 dots on the top right and send a test

Hello, @MarissaMG, @Unreal33, @Mikael91! Welcome to the Forums! Our team is constantly updating this list, you should try what has worked for others as this doesn't precisely mean that it is not compatible, but it has not been tested, so some features might work just fine. And keep an eye on the list, we do not have an official date but it should be soon.
See you around, and thank you for your patience!

I haven't had an issue syncing my galaxy s7 edge to the new fitbit charge 2. The issue I have is not being able to receive text, call or music notifications. I have gone into settings on both my phone and fitbit and allowed all notifications. However, I still don't receive texts. Please help
