Hi, I would like to cancel my Fitbit premium subscription before the free trial ends. When I googled it, it said to go to acc and settings and There should be a cancel/manage subscriptions tab but there’s not.

I did get the premium subscription cancelled, but it wasn't easy. After researching online reviews/comments, I was able to log on to my apply account and cancel.

I was able to cancel it through my old, cracked iPad eventually so all is good. Not a very smooth user experience though!

It seems to be a SCAM!!!
It did not worked for me.
Why it is so hard to cancel Premium Subscription?
In my case it shows Premium Membership is active but On clicking Manage Membership, No option to Cancel Premium Membership is available.
I wanted to upload images but I do not have Permission to Upload Images
Wrote email to Fitbit but not received any response

Hey everyone! Thank you for getting back and posting details about your subscription.
I would like you to confirm you're doing this procedure to cancel it. I've noticed that some users were able to cancel theirs by going to the email that they received when they initially subscribed.
Also, others mentioned that you could cancel it from the Google or Apple website just search for the Subscriptions tab and you should have the option.

Based on these instructions, I should hit "Restore Purchases" to be able to view the subscription in the Google Play store. However, when I hit that, I get "Error restoring purchases - something went wrong. Please try again later"

@LuckySixes Hey there. It's not possible to revert back to the old layout, your app will still show the Premium view until your Fitbit trial ends.

Kindly note that my trail has already ended and I have been charged for the month
I never wanted to continue with premium subscription beyond the free trail period
Fitbit has made cancelling subscription hidden or inaccessible, I failed to find unsubscribe option even after following process step available on your support forum. Same process has been shared by you in your email in response to my query.
I followed the process and steps describe in your mail but I could not see the unsubscribe option as a result I am unable to unsubscribe the premium services.
Kindly immediately unsubscribe me from premium services and refund my money charged for the premium services as it is Fitbit fault not to provide unsubscribe option

Fitbit subscriptions are non refundable. The cancellation process should be done from the store that you purchased it from. e.g. if you subscribed using Google, please visit your Play Store subscription and cancel your Fitbit subscription from there.
Also, if you received the confirmation email from Play Store you could cancel it from there too. We're unable to cancel it for you.

This has been the most frustrating situation I have ever been in and I have heard from hundreds of others. Nothing on your website help applied to me. When I was finally charged, there was a link in the email to unsubscribe from FitBit Premium which I promptly did. It will not end on July 25th....and guess what? Fitbit Premium finally showed up on my phone! So I never did have it on my phone for the whole 3 month trial! Just another mix up from FitBit. Guess I wasn't using Fitbit anyways.

So YOU are unable to cancel it - and WE are unable to cancel it - where does that leave us. Will cancelling the FitBit account cancel it? I have been charged by Google Play - but it doesnt show as a subscription in that account. I need to take further advice on this.

@Jenny596 Hey there. If you cancel your Fitbit account, it won't cancel your subscription because it needs to be cancelled on the Play Store. I would like you to double check that you're logged into the same account that you were when you subscribed to Fitbit Premium, this could be the reason why you're not seeing your subscription.
Also, you could cancel it from the email that you received when you subscribed.

Thank you. I have checked both my email accounts and no subscription shows in Google Play. I can see the subscription via the Fitbit website, but there is no way to cancel it. The subscription there shows in an orange box and i have read that that means it is already cancelled, which I must admit,I thought it was. However I have had two email reminders and the payment has been debited. Unfortunately I can’t locate the original email. Are you able to resend a cancellation email?
also, I have checked the subscription on the Fitbit website. Yesterday it said it expired on 24th July.....today it says 25 July, but as I have paid for a month, neither are correct.

What finally solved it for me is that I found in google's play store the subscription was linked to a different google account than the one I use normally. I was able to cancel it from there finally

Keep in mind that your subscription needs to be cancelled on the store that you purchased it from. Always double check that you're logged into the same account that you were when you subscribed to Premium.
