RESOLVED: Daylight Saving Time: Sunday, March 10, 2019

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Update: Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding with issues related to Daylight Saving Time changes. If you are still seeing unexpected behavior on your device, please perform a manual sync by following these steps. Once your device has synced, you should see everything working properly again.

If this doesn't help, we'd expect the next midnight rollover tonight to help get things back to normal. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are ensuring that the concerns in this thread are heard by the larger team.

Daylight Saving Time will take place in North America (and some of Central America) this Sunday morning. Some features on your Fitbit device may be affected. These issues should be resolved by syncing after the time change. If you continue to have trouble with any of the following features, please proceed with the troubleshooting steps below:

Sleep logs may be off by an hour and graphs may show incorrect data
- Try editing your sleep log to reflect the correct amount of sleep by following the steps here.

Hourly Activity Goals and Reminders To Move may change to a different timeframe
- We recommend switching Reminders To Move to “off” so that you aren’t receiving these reminders until the issue is sorted. You can re-enable the feature the next day.

Device time may be off by one hour
- Restart your phone to make sure the time is correct there first, and then manually sync your device.

Silent alarms may be off by one hour
- We recommend setting a backup alarm on your phone or clock if you need to be woken up on Sunday morning. Your device's alarms should be accurate as soon as your the time updates by syncing with an phone/computer that shows the correct time.

We recommend turning on All Day Sync so that your device has the best chance of being up to date on Sunday. Once your device has synced and updated to the new time, you should be all set. If you've tried the above troubleshoots and still have difficulty, rest assured that these issues should resolve themselves the next day. Thank you for your understanding.

Last year, Fitbit handled daylight saving time. No problems Spring or Fall. Why did they break it >: (

I can not set a silent alarm for 2 am anymore? Worked fine for daylight savings time this morning now it will not allow it. The 2 is grayed out and I have rebooted and synced everything. Now what?

My Fitbit Versa has not recorded my sleep time, nor updates battery charge since Friday March 8;before the change. I have restarted phone, made sure wifi and bluetooth connections were on and recharged my Versa. I have tried pushing"sync now" and the circle just goes round and round.  I do have sync set to all day as well. How do I resolve this?

Woke up this morning and my fitbit3  screen is blank. It only vibrates and it is fully charged.

I went to my phones settings and turned the clock setting to automatic and it immediately changed my fit bit time. Finally.

I plan to phone them in the morning.  They're usually good when you call them.

My hourly activity shows 10 of 10 hours in the desktop which is correct, the fitbit also shows it 10 of 10,

however my Android desktop show 9 of 10 due to the daylight savings change, how to fix?

Yes, let's see what the answer is. I'm resetting again and following all the recommended steps.  Nothing has changed.

Is there any information as to why some fitbits won’t turn on today? Mine is syncing with my phone, but the screen will not turn on. I can feel the vibration when I push the home button but it hasn’t lit up and showed any data all day! Fully charged, since it was on the charger all night. Any help or suggestions?

Try changing your phones clock setting to automatic. It finally worked for me. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Yes, it seems that the only thing affected is my "Reminders to Move" has changed to something arbitrary. When I try to change it back, it has a mind of its own and keeps changing to whatever it wants. I will wait until tomorrow to see if there is any difference.

I'm having the exact same problem! It was working fine allday, and then sometime after 6pm cst it went black and won't come back on. It still had like 50% battery or 75%. The watch is maybe a yr old.

The display on my charge3 no longer comes on. The battery is fully charged and it has synced with my devices today. The display worked yesterday morning with the updated time change, but the display quit in the early evening. Nothing unusual happened during the course of the day to cause any damage to the Fitbit.

I have the same issue. Time changed fine although the battery depleted very quickly. I went from 60% on Sat to low battery on Sun and cannot swipe on the screen. Now it won't charge.
