All Lights Flashing Rapidly on Flex 2 - won't reset

All 5 of my lights on my flex 2 are flashing quickly, and it won't reset when I put it on the charger.

I've tried forgetting it on my Bluetooth app on my phone, forgetting it on my Fitbit App, and rebooting my phone. I don't think it's a syncing problem. Is the pebble dead?

Yeah, I figured as much. Mine was way out of warranty, so I didn’t bother
trying anything. Bought a new one discount on FB. I’m back on track.

Looks like I'm joining the club here. All five lights continually flashing, refuses to reset and seems like my device has had it. Out of warranty, so is that curtains then guys ?

Lol i hate to break it to you but i think its time is up. Mine never
stopped flashing. Had to buy brand new device. Unfortunately bought a
fitbit again but had problems with it as well. Next time i would rather
use Garmin. Way better customer service and support

Thank you for the information. I'm disappointed that it broke down just outside the warranty period. It was looked after well, and not damaged. I was offered 25% off a new one, however Amazon's deal of the day matches the reduced price anyway. Given this device didn't last long, I've decided to go for a much less expensive option and see if that outlasts its pricier counterpart.

That was the same in my case and why i felt that with a bit more active
customer service it could have been fixed. After sale service was really
lacking

Nothing  support can do.  If it's under a year old they will warranty replace it, over a year they offered a 25% discount on several other options.

Resetting doesn't work, I can't get it to stop having all lights flash.  no matter how many times I press the button on the back of the charger, there is no vibrate.

It is over a year old, what can be done now?

Hi, mine was also over a year old, within the UK it seems the warranty is
for 2 years so customer service provided a new replacement free of charge.

Hi. I just experienced the same thing with my unit. I went on a live chat with customer service on Fitbit's website. Since my unit's only a few months old, they're sending a replacement. Still don't know what happened to it. I've been experiencing difficulty syncing. Maybe it's connected.

I gave up after a while cos didnt get any assistance. Bought a new fitbit
but have been replaced twice in 12 months time. At least it was under
warranty but once its out of warranty they cant help. Fitbit defo worst
customer service. Rather invest in garmin that has walk in sevice centres

Exactly I’m doing the same

I'm having the same experience, 5 blinking lights, rapidly blinking, while its charging. It won't sync or vibrate when I try to reset.

I just spoke with customer service and they had we walk through the steps of trying to reset and setting up as a new device. When that didn't work, they offered me 25% off on a new device. I bought it Sept. 2018 (currently January 2020). Very frustrating to have a device only last around a year and then have to buy a new one.

Note: I think I'll try Garmin this time since it seems Fitbit devices don't seem to last. I've replaced my Flex 2 once, I'm not doing it again.

Hi,

I’m having the same issue. Only had my fit bit flex 2 for just over a year. Won’t respond when. It plugged in. When plugged in all the lights flash on and off continually.

I’ve tried resetting per this thread. I’ve tried forgetting the device on my app and trying to add it again (my app can’t see it whether plugged in or not).

Any other ideas? And if not, how do I get returns authorisation? The website sends me in loops on that subject. Thanks.

My unit was replaced since I only had it for around 4 months. I got help via Live Chat on Fitbit's website. Log in, go to Help. It's the fastest way to get a reply.

Before it went nuts, my old unit wouldn't sync with my phone. It happened so often that I started to regret buying it. Was it this hard to use?

When I got my replacement unit, everything worked fine until it had to be charged. I figured I'd just use the old charger and keep the new charger as a spare. After 1 complete charge, the new unit wouldn't sync with my phone. It took several tries before it synced. I believe the problem is with the charger.  Now I use the new charger. No problems so far.

I put the old unit in the new charger but all lights are still flashing and won't respond. If the old charger was defective, it could have affected the Flex 2.

Thanks. Sounds just like my issue. Turns out I’m within the 2 yr warrantee so I’ll be contacting Fitbit in that basis. Fingers crossed.

I'm having the same issue. It has been like this since I got it, and then I lost it when I moved. Finally found it again and it's not in warranty anymore, but it has NEVER worked. When I plug it in, all the lights flash constantly with one flashing brighter. When it's not plugged in, it won't flash or vibrate or respond. It won't connect to bluetooth. Resetting does NOT work. Leaving it off for long periods of time to drain the battery doesn't work. IDK what to do.

Hi by the sounds off it it did exactly what mine did. Had no luck with it
so had to purchase a new fitbit which was also faulty after a few months.
Once you out of warranty there is no real support. If you going to
purchase a new one do research on where there is support centres etc. In
south africa we get no help with fitbit once out of warranty
