Inspire HR only shows a black screen

My fit bit Inspire HR won't turn on. It has black screen and vibrates about every 10 seconds.  I plugged it in to charge for 2hrs. I don't get a battery icon or anything. I tried to reset it while plugged in. I did get a smile face show up on screen then disappears but still won't turn on. It still pulses about every 10 seconds. I'm at a loss.

Mine is doing the same thing. For a while it wasn't keeping a charge. I spoke with customer service and they said to let it fully drain for 24 hours then to charge and they would monitor it. After that it worked and kept a charge longer. Now the screen won't turn on and it stays completely black but it still vibrates and connects to my phone. I tired restarting it several times and even let it drain before charging and restarting. I watched a YouTube video about changing the clock to sync the screen but still nothing is happening. Like I said earlier, my phone recognizes it and syncs the information but it doesn't show it on the actual device. Please help!

My FitBit Inspire was showing a blank screen -- no error. From the app, I changed the clock display to something different and it immediately displayed a thin progress bar then a checkmark. I changed the display back to the original face and it did the same thing. So, everything's fine and I didn't lose my stats. You just need to pick ANY different clock face. I didn't see Samisima's post until afterward.

FYI, my device is about 40 days' old.

Much appreciate the suggestion of changing the display clock face. My screen when black and I was unable to see any stats for a day. Was going to contact the company for a replacement - tried your trick and voila back in business. Thanks again!

I had this same issue and going to the app and changing the clock face worked to resolve the issue for me too.

I am having a similar issue although I'm receiving phone notifications, my screen is entirely blacked out it is not reading my information when. I am moving at all. I have totally charged it although u can't tell by the Fitbit because you can't read the screen.

Glad I saw your post, helped me too. I guess my display fell asleep after leaving it on the charger for a couple of days. The device was still syncing with my phone app and was working, just a black screen . I used the Fitbit app on my phone to change my view and it displays stuff again

Mine has had a completely black screen for several days now but it still works and will still vibrate with reminders.  I just came across this thread and did as some else suggested - I removed the wristbands. Et voila!  The screen displays properly again!  I put the wristbands back on and all is good to go.   This happened to me once before but after a couple of days, the display started working on its own.

My inspire hr screen is black.   Not responding however it buzzes sometimes.   How do you reset?
