Not sure what’s going on. Other than not receiving texts before today I’ve had no issues. This morning my Fitbit updated and since then my tracker has been saying I’ve done continuous exercise multiple times today when I wasn’t. My step count is correct. But this morning I had only walked 120 steps and it told me I had been walking for 39 minutes. And it’s done that 3-4 more times today. Not sure if there is a new bug or if I’m the only one it’s happening to.

Will this update fix the issue that so many of us are having where it just quits working after 2 weeks for no reason?? There's obviously a defect or problem with the Inspire HR.

My Fitbit updated yesterday. Last eveningI went for a bike ride and for the first time since I've owned it (3 weeks), it didn't record distance. Phone GPS is on and it's syncing fine. Disappointing.

Mine has not been updated yet, will this fix the extra steps that everyone has been recording?

Mine is still showing 1.57.19. Is there anything I need to do to make the update happen or does it update by itself?

Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to post about your firmware update experience.
@dannymoocow That is interesting. I haven't heard of this issue yet. Have you tried giving your tracker a quick restart? This should help refresh its system.
@rabinnh Thanks for posting. Seems like your GPS data isn't syncing over. I would attempt to unpair (forget) your Bluetooth connection from within your phone's settings, then re-pair your tracker. Might also help to perform a quick restart.
@Ladyjessop This firmware update is currently only released to a subset of users. Once it is available, you will see a prompt to update within the Fitbit app.
@Jfarr2023 @SunsetRunner This release included stability and performance improvements. So feel free to let me know what you think once you have updated. 😊
Thanks again all! Feel free to let me know if you have additional questions. Thanks!

I have had 2 inspire units fail on me within 2 months. What is going on with this new product?

Suddenly my HR isn't working. It's doing nothing. Not found on Bluetooth. Thought getting the smile face was a good thing now I'm stuck on this screen. Screen has the Fitbit icon diamond thing then the letters MLJMJYZM and the numbers 001. Holding the button down does nothing. Will it charge again after it dies or should I get a replacement?

I see there are other users having issues with the steps counting incorrectly. They are double the amount of steps over another tracker I borrowed from a friend and my iphone app. Will this update fix this? I like the idea of the Inspire, but am ready to return it because it doesn't track correctly.

My Inspire HR has been incorrectly tracking sleep since i got it. It continually shows large gaps, or starts late. Will this update address any of that? Sleep tracking is the main reason I bought the device, and it's been very disappointing.

@MattFitbitCan you tell us why you aren't able to provide mode details about these bugfixes? It would probably save thousands of people testing stuff that might not have been changed by the firmware. 🙂

DM'd customer support and am supposed to have a replacement delivered today. Question now is, when this new one likely bricks as well, can i just credit possibly to the watch? I really want the inspire, but i'm not wanting to replace every few weeks..

You may want to update that "may take up to 10 minutes" blurb. Going on 20 minutes and the progress bar on my app is about 1/4 of the way done.

The update notes could’ve been a bit more explicit in what was fixed and updated.

I agree about what was fixed. I clicked on the link and it was vague. Could the Mod. list a few things that we might see or is it just some bugs that only a percentage of users saw?
TIA
