This update killed my Ionic. Seems to be working, but there is a black screen. I don't consider, for the price, this to be a disposable watch after 15 months.... really 25% discount on another watch? No. Should be replaced.

Quick update, no issues, nothing noticeable changed. So no complaints from me. Wish Fitbit would provide an actual changelog instead of the abysmal one they provide now 😂

This update killed my ionic too. It is stuck in the boot screen with fitbit logo. Tried rebooting with three buttons and two buttons—nothing. Please help!

The fact that I have always had connectivity issues with my Ionic and wife's Versa is troublesome. The process to get it to connect eventually is asinine. Turn this on, turn that off, force stop this, remove all other devices, reinstall app, etc. Makes no sense. I suggest fixing this before an update so you stop killing peoples' devices.

After this update the Exercise App was removed from my ionic and it will not reinstall. Any advice?

I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried a hard reset multiple times and changed clocks to see if that would work. Just stopped working out of nowhere last night. It will still buzz. Black screen but the edges light up blue so I know it's working. The sensors also stopped flashing. It's been charged completely. I removed it and tried adding it again but I can't add it because I can't see the numbers on the Fitbit screen to sync it with my phone.

Does it reinstate the restless stats or does it take more original features away to the premium section?

Just updated and all went well, no issues. I do agree though with the earlier comment about providing a change log rather than the current non-informative blanket statement.

Exactly what was updated on the Ionic? All it say is, " This release includes bug fixes and improvements". After reading the problems people are having why would I do the update, especially without knowing what it is supposed to do.

My ionic won’t charge. I have tried the hard reset, which worked in the past but not this time. Really shouldn’t happen this much.

This is the second time an update has turned my screen black. My ionic is new and this is getting ridiculous. I've done the three button and two button holds, but nothing happens. The watch continues to buzz and the green lights are working, but the screen remains black. This is the worst fitbit I have ever had.

I have suffered iOnic's touched screen issue for over 2 weeks.
Before this update, the touch screen function is on and off.
I can live with that until I received the update last night.
Now, the touch screen function is completely gone.
How come every update will cause some issues?

My screen hasn't been working for a day now and now the screen is black and my ionic is vibrating nonstop. I'm really not sure what's going on with it.

What about screen turning on notifications? can't you fix it like before?
it's about the privacy of notifications, not everyone needs to see my notifications.

Received and applied this morning - was painless.
I see no mention other than 'bug fixes' hopefully this includes the GPS dropout/connection issue being experience by allot of people since the last update

Like others this update caused my fitbit to die. No response on any reset attempts. Please provide a fix as soon as possible

My Ionic had the update yesterday and now will not sync properly, because it won't sync the app keeps trying to update it whenever I put it on,the update message will not go away, it has lost the correct time which I can't adjust, my Ionic was fine before the update but now it's pretty useless but can't afford to buy another one just because Fitbit killed it off, there should be a way of reversing the update, I have tried all the so called fixes but nothing is working.

Bold clock face no longer working on Adidas ionic. Poor considering it is the original clock face.
