Though Fitbit One is a popular product, as we introduce new products, we occasionally make changes to our product line to keep you on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools.
As a result, we no longer sell the One. We recommend considering the other discreet options we offer- Fitbit Zip, if you prefer a clip-based tracker or Fitbit Flex 2 if you prefer a slim, wrist-based tracker. Or, take our quiz on http://www.fitbit.com/compare to see which device meets your needs best.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit trackers you love and help you reach your goals.

I did send a letter, (and I will be sending another). They actually
answered me, and suggested that I post to these forums, as they 'listened
to the posts' ha ha!

"Listened?"
Road apples. They are providing an extremely poor customer experience.
Unless I'm wrong some bean counter has deemed the "One" to be a relic and
the wrist models to be the "wave of the future."
Owners would really want to know why this is happening, but I suggest
Fitbit doesn't have the "cojones" to speak up. Just sayin'.

I got the same (or silence) when I tried to correspond with the CEO and the head of "Customer Support". That was so long ago several of the forums have since been closed and we were directed to other ignored lists,

I got silence when I tried to communicate with them. They don't care.

That is really unbelievable, but thank you! I guess they have no intention
of changing their mind. Even though so much market research, tells how when
1 person complains, there are many more out there who dont.

And if hundreds of us complain then the numbers are exponential.

@SPL-BR wrote:Alternative - one of two or more possibilities.
Although it is not exactly like the One, in my opinion the best alternative that is designed as a clip on is the Garmin Vivofit 3. Does everything that the One does except stairs.
Running side by side with the One, differences are very little and seems to be getting closer as it is used.
I have actually come to like that it is not rechargeable, have had several months and battery is still good.
If you are looking for an alternative that does everything that the One does, it does not exist.
There is only one-One, and it does not look like Fitbit is even remotely interested in our comments, bringing back or replacing the One.
You can check out my other posts for more information on the Vivofit 3.
As always, good luck to all of us that love our One. (I now love my Vivofit 3)
I would not want a device that was not rechargeable.

To each their own, but it is an alternative. My choice to replace the One does not have to be yours.

I’m looking for one that clips on. Can’t wear anything on my wrist. Battery life looks good but would really like a rechargeable. I just don’t know frustrating

Deeinsk:
Not having to recharge has been unbelievably convenient. Literature states that the battery will last a year. If it lasts half of that I will be pleased. I intend to buy another Vivofit 3 as a backup since I do not have to worry about the battery degrading. (as the One will while sitting in the box not being used) Simply install a new battery.
All in all I have been very pleased with the Vivofit 3 and it is my go to clip on now. I still have my One (and an Ionic as well) but have decided to go all in with Garmin.
As always, good luck to all of us that love our One!

Thanks Deeinsk,
if you haven’t left yet, how I should the Garmin sleep function?

As your One (sitting in a box not being used) is sitting in a box, would
you consider selling it?

Like most of my colleagues in this thread, I too am sad that Fitbit decided to drop the One. I bought my first Fitbit almost a decade ago, and I chose the Tracker over the Body Bugg I was wearing because it was discreet. Fitbit got it's start as a discreet little clip, which is why many of us fell in love in the first place. The One improved on the Tracker, and that was awesome. Now sadly, the company has chosen to abandon it's roots to compete in the fitness market. Being competitive is great, but originality is better. I'm sorry that Fitbit is abandoning it's own unique approach to fitness tracking and thereby leaving behind a ton of loyal users. Upon learning the One was discontinued, I immediately searched for a backup online - they are up to $300 on Amazon and Ebay. clearly there is still demand for this product. clearly One users aren't satisfied with the Flex or the Zip... Still Fitbit chooses to ignore it's most committed fanbase. Sad... Here's hoping my Fitbit One lasts forever, but when it dies you can best be sure this loyal Fitbit user of nearly 10 years will be making the transition to another platform.
