My fitbit is only a couple of months old and this has happened to me too. Contacting customer service to see if they can help. My charge 2 was purchased as I'd had several flex over the last year and kept having problems with them not charging so was pleased when I got offered a discount of charge but now upset it's broken already.

Hi @ninja9nina, welcome to the forums! Smiley Happy Let me see if I understood, so you contacted our Customer Service team and they offer you a discount for your previous damage Flex and with that you purchased a Charge 2? And now its wristband is damage?

Let me know so I can continue helping you out!

Hi Yes that's right. I've made contact again so when I get home I'll send more photos and see what they can do. It's the plastic bit that's just snapped off.Nina

My strap is broken as well. The original strap broke about 2 months ago, it was replaced, now this one is broken too.

Is is there any help for this problem??

Just joined.  I have the Charge 2 Lavender and Rose Gold and the band keeps popping off on one side.  When it is attached, it had a gap where it doesn't lay flat.  Any suggestions?

I am also the victim of my second broken strap in less than a year.  I bought it at Target.  Is there anything I can do to get a replacement without purchasing a new strap every 4 to 6 months?

I have the Charge 2 and the band keeps popping off on one side.  When it is attached and I am not holding it down in place there is a small bubble where it doesn't lay flat. Is there anything I can do to fix this because as of late it keeps falling off when I exercise. Please advise

It seems this is a common, known issue so having customer service tell me "Sorry, your Fitbit is a year old.  We can't help you." doesn't help much.

I agree. This seems to be a common problem. My partner's band also releases on one side. Maybe this is a way to sell more Charge 2's to replace lost ones.

I purchased extra band on amazon, they are awesome, and way cheaper than through fitbit 🙂

Thanks for the info but I don’t think I should bear the cost of an obvious design flaw.

I completely agree, the problem is the rest of it is great, fitbit used it stand behind their products, now they aren’t. Easier just to replace the broken band

Customer care tends to help pretty quick. Problem is that they have yet to come up with a strap that can really handle a lot of use. I just broke my 3rd strap in 18 months. I’m out of warranty now so I’m probably going to move onto a tracker with better durability, which means goodbye to Fitbit. Really unfortunate too, great people and groups on here. I wish you success! Keep on stepping!

They might react quickly but they don’t make it easy to get a replacement. I thought I had done all they asked but, apparently, I hadn’t done it right. My handwriting is poor so I typed the number they gave me and that was a problem. My next purchase will be an Apple watch.
