Awesome! Let me know how you like it. There are a few people I work with that has an Apple Watch. They like theirs but they aren't runners.

That is how it worked for me until my Fitbit was a year old. Then was told I had to buy the replacement band because it was out of warranty. Even though they know there is a flaw with the band. In my opinion that is poor customer service.

They sent me a new one also, but when my next one broke my Charge 2 was no longer under warranty.  They told me I would have to buy a replacement strap for it.  Even though they know there is a flaw with the band.  In my opinion, that is poor customer service.  They don't back their product.  They know there is a flaw and are STILL selling them.

Hey folks! I hope you are having a great day!

It is sad to see some of you leaving the Fitbit family because the Charge 2 didn't meet your expectations.  Please note that our team is constantly reviewing the Fitbit forums, your experiences, comments and feedback, 'cause that information help them out to see if there are some areas that need improvements so they can apply them on future products. So thanks you all for sharing them.

Have a nice day!

Good morning,

It is unfortunate that Fitbit has really left us with no choice. The quality of the clasp on the band is insufficient to handle a “sport” lifestyle. Even if it is only for running

This is a common problem with the charge 2 bands and you'll probably have it again.  Between myself, my wife, and my sister we went through almost a dozen bands in the warranty period.  They all failed the exact same way.  I'll give their customer service credit. They were great about offering replacements while it was under warranty.  Unfortunately the product itself is just bad.

I had the flex for years and upgraded to the charge 2 when it was giving me problems.  It's so frustrating that the trackers and software are great, but the bands are garbage.  This will probably be my last Fitbit product. I've purchased a third party band which is leaps and bounds better than what Fitbit can provide.

@bad_wolf13 Well said.  It couldn't handle me spending my days working at a computer.  Every time I got a replacement I explicitly asked if they were going to send me a band with the same problem.  They flat out lied and told me they had improved them. Maybe mine just kept coming from the older stock...

Yes, I had the same response while it was under warranty. I too had a different fitbit and thot I was upgrading when I chose the Charge 2. I had someone tell me about the offbrand replacement bands and they had better luck with them. I ordered it and it definitely was better quality. When my Charge 2 dies I will not be buying another product from them. I have already started research on other devices.

I have no doubt my last replacement came from the old stock. It lasted maybe 3 months and literally just crumbled. It was brittle. I would think they would want to improve their product and take care of their customers, but that is obvious this isn't their mind set.

Your reply is very inappropriate. Only served to get users saying how bad the straps are. I haven't left Fitbit yet (I have an alta) but your continued failure to acknowledge that your straps are unfit is definitely tempting me, as others, away. A much, much better comment would have been to acknowledge problems and explain what you are doing to address them.

Sorry you feel my commments aren't warm and fuzzy. I have stated the issue and how fitbit chose not to help. They replaced straps until warranty was over. I'm basically warning the consumer to not buy a Charge 2 because the company admitted to me after the 2nd strap broke that they knew there was a flaw and were working on the problem. If I was looking for a new device I would want to know not to waste my money on the Charge 2.

hello Fitbit support.

If it has been under a year contact customer service. They will have you take a picture. The replacement comes quickly. If it is over a year old you will have to purchase a new one. But it will have the same issue. I purchased an after market band off of Amazon amd it hasn't had any issues. I would recommend that.

Instructions are on the web site. They have run out of all the popular colours so you will almost certainly have to choose from your 3rd or 4th choice. I went with the blue, the colour has grown on me.
