Love my Fitbit but hate that my screen has cracked down the middle. I have not dropped it or done anything weird just put it in charge and woke up to a cracked screen. It seems to have warped and now I cannot read the time etc. still works and syncs to phone but cannot use it as a watch 😢 Seems to be a common occurrence with these watches. Can you get the screen replaced?

@Vlnmama Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community!
@BrianDuke @Ron1980 sorry to hear that Support didn't replace your devices. Please reply to them explaining how this occurred so they can review the case and see how to proceed.
@Vlnmama sorry to hear about your damaged Charge 2. Please let our Support team know about this so they can assist you. I noticed that you already have a ticket with them so I wanted to know if they were able to help you?
@Ivafit Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
Let me know how it goes!

They gave me a discount on a new one since mine was out of warrantee. While
I understand that I am beyond the warrantee, I am not interested in buying
another since I feel, due to the large presence online of similar scenarios
re: the charge 2, it is a defect in design. I don't want to keep buying new
ones each year because of a design flaw. And there is no indication that
the fitbit company has admitted that this is a flaw. Its a shame.
Thank you very much,

The Fitbit Charge 2 has a two year warranty in the UK.

Fitbit did replace my Charge 2....and out of warranty.
I emphasised how careful I had been with it and how I achieved my 10k per day and in October they replaced it.
Sadly the new one is already showing signs of the same vertical hairline crack 😏

My fitbit charge 2 developed a similar crack line and I would love to replace the screen before it cracks completely and becomes unusable as a watch.

If it is under warranty they will replace it, but they replaced mine and the replacement cracked to, in exactly same spot and they offeref 25% off new one but only from their store, where it isnt discounted! So now I wear the cracked one and wait until it will stop working(the other one stopped when I got some water splashed on it and it went into the crack. Unfortunately, there isn’t better looking product than this, so I plan to buy one from Costco where it is discounted and with 2 year warranty:(

I went to a cracked fitbit screen site on facebook and was totally apalled by the number of people selling these! And some are actually buying them, even if there is no known way (at least not to me or anybody on this site),to fix them!

It's great that AlvaroFitbit has included a link to my profile. I ask the readers of his post to look at my profile and try to find the post he mentions where I say anything is under warranty. I'll leave it up to the reader to draw their own conclusions.

I received a discount to purchase another device. I hope the charge 2 that has this fault will no longer be offered for sale. The charge 3 looks similar. I hope it has a better quality screen..

My Charge 2 has had a crack in the screen for a long time, but a few days ago, the display crapped out completely. Rebooting does not help, though I can feel the vibration after a few seconds. It has lasted 2 years, so that is sort of adequate.

My fitbit isn't even a year old and I always have a guard on it except when I charge it. The best they will offer is a 25% discount on another fitbit. I will never buy another one if they cant even give warranties and I'll be sure to let all my friends not to waste their money...buy a different product!!!!

Like a lot of the above Fitbit owners, my Charge 2’s face cracked for no reason. Having read some of the blogs, I had no high expectations on getting help from Fitbit. I went on the Chat line and I couldn’t have got better service. My Fitbit was bought in January 2018 from Amazon. The person I chatted to was so helpful, gave me a link to upload a photo of the cracked glass and said I was eligible for a replacement. I was sent an email to complete the replacement request and within two hours, I received another email to confirm shipment. One happy Fitbit customer!
