For some reason my Fitbit Charge 2 is no longer displaying my phone calls or text messages. I'm getting no notifications. It's as though it's not connected to my phone any longer. It was working fine up until a couple weeks ago. Is there some setting I need to check that I may have inadvertently changed either on my Fitbit or on my Iphone? Not sure if the IOS upgrade on my Iphone or the upgrade to my Fitbit affected this some how.

Hi everyone. If you aren't getting call notifications then try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker. First make sure you are using a compatible mobile device to ensure this feature works without issues (you can still use your phone if it isn't listed as the list isn't exclusive but I can't guarantee it will work or work without issues). Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there (including your Charge 2). Restart your phone and restart your Charge 2 by doing the following:
Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.
If you are using an Android device make sure you gave the Fitbit app the permissions necessary for this (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions). Have Location Services (GPS) on and bluetooth. Make sure you have a strong internet connect and setup notifications again.
Let me know how it goes!

Pushed side button on Fitbit Charge 2. It worked to turn Notifications "ON". Called my cell. Fitbit vibrated but not phone number came up on screen. Send myself a text message to test, but no text appeared on fitbit. Can anyone help me?

I got a replacement of the Charge 2 and it buzzs when I get notifications, but the notification does not show up on the fitbit. Also, it does not show the battery level. I gave my old fitbit to my husband and the battery level no longer displays on that fit bit either. I called technical support who did extensive trouble shooting and was then informed they are aware of the notifications issue and should have it fixed within 72 hours. When I press the button on the side the only things that display are: time and date, BPM, Run, Stopwatch, and Relax. No notifications and no battery.

The batery and notifications are just aditional menus and can be added .
How do I customize the menus on my Charge 2?

Hey @JudyJC812, welcome aboard! So your Charge 2 is vibrating when you get a call notification but you are not getting the contact name, right? If that is the case, let me ask you this, do you have that contact stored on your contacts list? If so, I would suggest you to try to restart your Charge 2 by following the instructions in this post and ask somebody else to call you.
@Rich_Laue, thanks for your participation my friend!
@Lauramilne, I appreciate the update! Sounds good that your Charge 2 is getting notifications again.
Have a nice day guys!

I went to the menu items and notifications and battery were turned off. I feel really dumb, but I don't understand how they got turned off. I didn't turn them off. Anyhow, thanks for the help.

Hey @Rilen31, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! If you are not getting call or text notifications, beside the troubleshooting that my friend @Rich_Laue posted above, please make sure that the notifications are ON on your Charge 2 itself by pressing and holding the side button.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

There are at least 4 places to check for notifications @Sara2690.
The phone the Fitbit app, the Charge 2 and fitbit app permissions. AAlink to the instructions are found in my last post

I am having a similar problem with my Charge 2. I am still receiving text notifications, but not the message. All it says is "new message" and the person that sent it. It used to scroll what the text was. I reviewed everything in your resolutions posted under this topic and everything appears fine, then I did the steps in the link and it has not fixed the problem. How can I resolve this so that I start seeing the message again? I did verify in the Fitbit app under text that it is checked to show message and sender. The only bluetooth device is the Fitbit, I have not changed the phone and Fitbit used to display the text, I have quit the app, reset the bluetooth and restarted the device and it has not changed the notification. What else can be done so that this displays the message again?

Sorry @Greyhoundfun to give an answer we need to know what OS runs on the phone that is having the problem. The problem is in the phone, not the Charge 2.
@Sara2690 I'm not familiar with iOS, .Have you checked permissions and that the Fitbit app is looking at the correct messaging app?
