My charge 2 screen keeps scrolling on its own and then it suddenly stops and gets stuck on one screen and you can't change it. I press the button and nothing happens, i have rebooted the device and re installed the app numerous times and it still doesn't rectify the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sometimes doing the restart 3 times in a row helps
Try that and see if it helps

@Tazzie88 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! I am curious to know if @WendyB's suggestion helped you solve the issue or if your tracker is still stuck in this loop?
I look forward to your reply!

Hi many thanks for your concern.
The tracker is still playing up.
I sent a video to fitbit support and the conclusion is that there is something wrong with the screen.
They are liaising with me at the moment 👍

My Charge 2 has also just started vibrating and scrolling on its own likes it’s possessed! It eventually stops after I rebooted twice but 12 hours later started again but seems to have calmed down now. What did they tell you was the cause?

I’ve got the same issue, restarted it numerous times but no joy! If you find a fix please let me know!

I have the same issue, started on 4/29 in the middle of the night. Just keep turning notifications on/off. Then it would randomly scroll through the menus.
When you do the reboot x 3, do you leave it in the charging cradle the whole time or take it out in-between reboots? I have tried both and done it 3 times and 5 times each but it still keeps scrolling or gets stuck on notifications or the breathing/HR screen.

Just finished a chat with support. Since I'm outside the warranty period they have only offered me 25% off of another Charge 2 or Alta/Flex/Blaze but not the Ionic or Versa.
I'm frustrated because I take care of my electronic devices. There was no water or physical damage to this device. It just started acting like this in the middle of the night. There's obviously an issue since multiple people are reporting it. I think they should be doing more for customers that experience this issue as it's obviously defective in some way.

I feel like this could be fixed by a firmware update. The button obviously isn't truly stuck since I can still press it to reboot when it's in the cradle. It also started happening in the middle of the night... I'm pretty sure I didn't press the button.
I will take your advice and see if that gets me any further. Thank you.

My Charge 2 started this mad scrolling behavior a few weeks ago. It eventually stops but is very irritating. It's not synching this morning but I don't know if this is a related or unrelated problem.

I have had no issues syncing with my phone. Try restarting it 3 times while it's in the charging cradle by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds until you see the firmware logo. I have read that doing this 3 times helps alleviate syncing problems.

Glad to hear you're getting a replacement. Unfortunately my device was past warranty so they're only giving me a discount on a new device but from a limited set of devices.

I had the same experience, and I'm NOT happy. I have taken good care of this device, this was not something i did that caused this.
Very unhappy.
