I have restarted as suggested
The Charge 2 is fully charged
The full battery screen ateyed visible when the unit was removed from the charger.
When I pressed the button the message "Woo I feel energized" appeared and then it went into the loop "Notifications on then Off then on etc.

@Norman.Kennedy what did support get back to you with when you contacted them?
If it is a hardware problem, the answer is to contact Fitbit.

I wrote a a number of responses in response to a support request in chat.
There was no response, I gave up after waiting for nearly 30 minutes.

Thank you
I went through a very good process with support. I sent videos and screen shots.
The ens end result was an offer to replace my charge2 with a new unit for free or 50% off a charge3 which offer I accepted to take the charge3.
By by the way the charge3 is a big improvement and worth the upgrade

Well mine started doing this today, google searched and found mine's not a lone case. Many people have reported the same issue for the past 2 years however i do not see a solution from fitbit yet..strange. Charge hr had band bubbling issue and i thought charge 2 is a killer but stuck in the same situation again!

I had a lot of help from Fitbit supoport but in the end they could not fix
it and offered a replacement or a discount on a Charge3 which I took.
Regards

Mine is constantly switching notifications on and off and buzzing, which drains the battery very quickly. I tried all the resets rx here with no results. Kind of tired of FBs failing...I have had three Flex, Flex 2 and now Charge 2 (4 total) in a five year period that failed. That’s over $500 just to track steps. I think I could of bought an excellent pedometer three times over. That is an unacceptable track record for product performance and quality.
