Charge 2 text notifications

I have text and call notifications set up on my Charge 2 from my Galaxy note 3. I get notifications of calls but when i get a text message all it says is text message recieved. id like to know how i can view who it is from and part of the text message on my charge 2? i have text notifications enabled on my phone and it still isnt working. is my phone not compatible with my charge 2 to view text messages? im at a loss..HELPPP

Is your iPad @SunsetRunner on the compatability list? I see no mention of which model that you have.

I just got and setup my Charge 2 today...and seem to be having the same issue. I'm enjoying it otherwise. There doesn't seem to be many videos or information on how to troubleshoot or even validate that you've set up the notifications correctly.

Hi thanks for your message. I had my messages coming through no problem before but I've not used my fitbit for a couple of months and now my messages don't come through. I've re set it and everything but nothing works.

No @GrahamMcDermid not directly, but on Android the app called Fit Notifications should work.

I think you have to choose whether you want text notifications or WhatsApp.

Thank you. I've chosen text notifications. I had messaged be for but didn't use my fitbit for a couple of months and now it won't show my messages at all. I think I've tried everything but at a loss now.

@Steele02 it probably is because the phones OS has disabled some permission. 

Not knowing which OS your phone uses I'll direct you to the help desk.

I don't believe that is an option. All I saw on mine was Facebook, texts or
messenger.

I was always able to read my text messages before. Just can't understand what's wrong now.

@Steele02 have your u checked permissions, and the Charge 2 itsepf?
