My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

I think it is one year from purchase date. I used an email purchase receipt. This fault happened 6 months after I got the charge3. I used twitter to connect with support. They replaced the device with only a few tests. It has been just over 1 year since new or reconditioned dongle. No problems so far. I know that may just be dumb luck. I really love my Fitbit! My partner has the VERSA. I love doing challenges and the step tracking. If this breaks, I will probably go to Garmin.

Mine was doing the exact same thing except it’s now not syncing to my app and is 3 days behind and the wrong time. I’ve tried resetting multiple times and it hasn’t works. Also got lines across screen. Any other ideas?

I have several dead black lines across my screen but this has happened to every FitBit I've ever had. I've had mine replaced a couple of times. It must be a fault with FitBit and perhaps should be looked at. While I love the slim line style, it might be worth looking at a different brand.... sadly 😞

I had several horizontal lines appear on my screen around a month after getting the device. This developed into several vertical lines the the screen jumping and glitching. Last night , 6 months after purchase, I lost the whole screen entirely and cannot see anything.
I have tried the reboot process which has done nothing as the screen is not working. The Fitbit is still doing something as it still vibrates on touching the side button.
I have tried emailing, live chatting and ringing Fitbit support but not having any luck.
This is the third Fitbit device I have had that has developed some sort of fault or defect. I'm getting really dissapointed with the quality of the products, which is such a shame because I did really like it as a product and brand 😞

HI
both time i have had problems with mine I have found twitter the best way to get a response from Fitbit they have currently opened my case but said because of the Covid Situation it may take more than 7 days to get back to me . Today I got an apple watch for my birthday and quite honestly I am pleased although I liked my Fitbit I could do without going through this every few months why have they not looked for a solution . My apple watch is Seris 3 and only works out at £20 more than a nrew Fitbit and worth it
