Charge 3 display corrupted

My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

Mine is 7months old receive my Fitbit3 for Christmas. It started with one line in April, the reset worked which lasted about a month. Then three lines reset worked lasted about another month..still could see display. A lot was going on, now I can't see the display...yes I tried the reset. Would attach picture to this post but unsure how...also have read that it could be sent back...can't findout where...

I am not a swimmer.

I don't know that the company will take it back to repair, especially now
that it's owned by Google. Usually they replace it with a different unit,
probably a refurbished one if it is still in warranty. Otherwise they may
offer a discount on a different unit. You will have to contact customer
service to see what your options are.

How do I get in contact with Customer Service? I would be happy to get discount...just a bit annoyed. HR and Charge lasted longer than this one...

Under warranty you can ask for a new replacement not a refurbished one!

I think google will only improve support 🙏

I got the information from the Fitbit website. Scroll down to the product

Hello. I've tried the restart and my screen seems to be getting worse instead of better. It's less than a year old. Here's a pic of my screen . There was a while that it would be a straight black screen and then a few hours later of no where it would start displaying again. When I'm outside and try to use it, the screen is very faint and I have it set on the brightest setting. Please help! Thanx.!

Im having the same problems. Only have fitbit since May and twice I've restarted it and changed clock face. Same problem now again this evening. A black screen. Not good enough after only 3 months. 

NNot finding it easy to get help here either as I'm not on twitter.

Hello ! I have several black lines across my fitbit. They keep getting worse. Some days I have just a black screen and then later on it will start showing the screen. How do I start the process to get a replacement? I attached a picture of my current screen.

Call customer service. They will have you "reset" while in the phone. They will give you a choice of new charge3 or 50%off another model(charge 4 not included)

You will have to contact customer service. Since it is in warranty, they
should replace it. I don't know if they will give you new, or refurbished.
Try to press for new because several of the refurbs have done the same
thing. Good luck
