I have barely had my Fitbit 3 a month, and there is a black line going down the center of the screen. Anyone know what to do about this?

I did have to call them after I received and email having me do a long
reboot and small reboot. It had a number on it to call so I did

I am waiting for a response from Fitbit - I think my Fitbit 3 is out of
warranty. I am thinking if this is a system wide issue Fitbit should be
making an adjustment!

It seems like a charge 3 first generation system problem when they send out
a system update it corrupted the Fitbit. I ended up having to buy a new one
and it actually seems better than the first one I got.

You will have to call tech support and talk with them. The 1st version of
the Fitbit charge 3 all have this problem with the new update and have all
had to go through tech support to get it fixed or get a new charge 3

they cannot fix it and unless yours is under warranty will not replace it.

Mine wasn’t under warranty but it had just lapsed so they gave me a coupon
for so much off and I used it to get a new one.

Of course they won’t! I’ve now owned two different models, this one a gift
from my son so I don’t know if there’s a warranty filed. This I’ve read is
a problem reported by many others so yeah I expect Fitbit to stand back
their products and replace what’s not fixable!

I did too. It is extremely annoying and you would think they would do
something about it, but I think they just want people to buy more products.
I did notice the newest products with the biggest faces similar to the
Apple products didn’t have the problem though.

I’d even be ok with a discount, I’ve filed with tech support pictures and
info they’ve asked for , not gotten reply from them yet. Watch is barely a
year old.

I was actually considering the newest versa when I got my new one, but I
didn’t have the money at the time for it. I’m now considering giving my new
charge 3 to my daughter and getting the versa for myself. I loved the specs
on the versa and wanted one. I also have several friends who have gotten it
since I’ve gotten my charge 3 and they love it. It has the HR as well as
all the other things that are a must.

I tried several times resetting it & nothing has changed.  In fact as of today the screen is even dimmer than it was before * I can barely see it.  It still vibrates like it should & tracks the steps correctly.

You will have to call customer service and give them your information and
case id. They should be able to help you either fix your problem or tell
you what to do.

I have tried using the fix suggested but only had partial success.

My display has gone from with white line taking up 90% of the screen to now about 33%.

When I tried doing the long restart but it did not work like it should have according to the procedure posted by Alejandra. The first time, my watch didn't shut down so I repeated the procedure and eventually got shut down. However, I did not get all the vibrations.

I think my Fitbit needs to be returned but I am unsure as to how to do this in Australia?

Hope you can help.
