I have barely had my Fitbit 3 a month, and there is a black line going down the center of the screen. Anyone know what to do about this?

Thanks, seems it’s quite a common problem. I will take it back to the retailer tomorrow.

I also have a corrupted display problem - a series of horizontal lines across the display. I've tried all of the solutions mentioned in this thread, reboot, reset with the power cable and none of these have solved the problem. Mine is 6 months old (purchased 6 Dec 2019). I see so may people on line mentioning this issue that it appears to be a design / manufacturing / reliability fault with the product. Can you please let me know how to progress this issue for a repair / replacement. Many thanks, Simon

Contact support directly, tell them what you've tried and email photos of
the screen. I did that and they were brilliant and I was lucky that mine
was still under warrenty. Good luck.

Have you contacted costumer service for your area? They will be able
to help you on how to return the Fitbit from your area. I believe try
Australia number is (877)623-4997 but it would be better to look it up
online for your particular area just in case

Thanks for your reply. The number is for the USA, I am in Australia.
However, I took the watch back to the store where it was purchased and they
gave me a replacement on the spot.

Hello, I’ve had my Charge 3 for 10 months and I’m having the same issue but add the display cannot be read outside.  I’ve followed all steps on this post and the issues still persist. My Charge 3 is still under warranty and I would like to be contacted in order to resolve these issues. Thanks

You need to contact support directly - I'm not sure if they monitor this
forum.

My charge 3 display is corrupted as well.  I shoe two black lines around the time and the rest of the display is turning light.  Tried both restart and shut off, neither worked.  How can I resolve this issue?
