Hello,
My Fitbit 3 that I've only had for 5months has a black screen. It died 1 day ago and after charging it , the screen never came back on. It is syncing and vibrates when I touch the "power" button.
I have tried changing the clock screen and holding down the side for 8-15seconds while charging but nothing is working.
Please advise.

My fitbit vibrates when plugged in, a smily face comes on when I attempted to restart, and then nothing. It won't turn on, won't sync with the phone. Please help

Hello, my charge 3 is going through the same issue. The screen does not work, but alarms and syncing work. I've tried resetting it and changing the clockface multiple times with no luck. Very disappointing as I've only had the device 3 months.

I also have lines and distortions across display. Not just clock but every screen. Tried resetting restarting and changing clock multiple times. Does not help. My charge 3 is less than a year old.

Steve, you da man!
Yes, I gave up on any watch face apps and have switched to the Fitbit one.

I'm the same got charger 3 for Christmas and just after charging it last night the face went vertical grey like yours. Did you ever resolve the matter?

My screen is not coming on for the 2nd day in a row. The fix of holding the button down while plugged in has worked in the past but not these days. Incidentally, the app updated the night before...

I was having the same blank screen... it would buzz like it was charged... I needed to sync next to my phone with app open and there was a software update... now it works great again.

I finally received my replacement Charge 3 today (I had the proliferating blank lines on display issue) after some FedEx failures. I was setting it up, pulled down on the screen to make sure there were no messages - and here's a message from Diane from October 12 mentioning that she may go up to Heights later for a movie.
I don't know a Diane. I don't know where the Heights are.
I'm guessing these replacement devices are refurbs - and badly refurbed at that, if they're not getting wiped. Pretty disappointed in my FitBit experience after the whole Alta fiasco and then this.

I have done both the suggestion to plug in & hold the button for 8 seconds & I have changed the clock face and still my Charge 3 display will not show

I have the same problem with the black screen and I have tried all the solutions... no luck. My device is only a few months old and it's now a paper weight.

I am having these exact same issues, with the same attempted remedies (with no improvement). What is the next step here?
