By now I am sure everyone knows the link to contact Fitbit Support Team.
It is here: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs
With all the issues I have seen about Charge 3 (I wonder if the other
trackers don't have their own issues) I suppose it has emerged that Charge
3 is a failed project.
I still have my Charge 3. I can barely see anything on the screen whatever
clock face I use. The screen is dark, doesn't brighten up, has got so many
white lines that it's useless, but the tracker still seems to sync. I am
throwing it away soon because I cannot do anything on the screen. Fitbit
sympathized with my situation - because I was out of warranty - and gave me
a 40% discount on Versa Lite, or 25% discount on other
trackers/smartwatches. I managed to purchase Versa 2 at $150 recently. Yes,
I know it's expensive and the failure of Charge 3 isn't my fault. Next time
I hope other innovators will have come up with something to rival Fitbit
and AppleWatch so that we can have better choices.
There is definitely a problem that Fitbit could have addressed in a better
way. Now that Fitbit was bought by Google, I am not even sure what
direction they will be taking. I will enjoy my Versa 2 while it lasts,
hoping it doesn't suffer the same debacle as Charge 3.
I am also beginning to think that much as we expect Fitbit (or any other
vendor) to produce equipment that is durable, I should be taking advantage
of those "insurance" options that are usually suggested during purchase.
Yes, I know they are not cheap but could ease the situation for most of us.
I am not trying to shield Fitbit from the Charge 3 failure. Given all the
sentiments I have seen on this thread, I believe they should have issued a
recall for Charge 3 regardless. But no one wants to make losses.
PS: I am still pissed off that Fitbit devices can be stolen and the thief
will just use it and Fitbit will never listen to requests for security
procedures to stop thieves from using stolen trackers/smartwatches.

Same issue with my charge 3 I've changed the clock face and followed the restart instructions several times. I need a real fix for this problem.

Same issue. I have had 2 Charge 3’s, 2 Charge 2’s, 3 Flexes, and 1 one. Seems like I haven’t learned my lesson with Fitbit. Their devices get black screens after a while and their only solution is to buy a new one... but wait.., they will give you a 10% discount for purchasing a new one...... pretty horrible business model.
Lol. I bought an Apple Watch last month. I only use my fit bit to track my sleep since it has a longer battery life. My screen is black ( this is my 7th one in 7 years). All Fitbit does is tells you to buy a new one and they will give you a 10% discount which gives you a small discount. It’s sucks because you have to suffer for their faulty device. Their customer service is horrible.

I tried and succeed in getting back the display by just pressing the tracker button for few seconds. (Not done in charging mode).

I have changed the clock face, i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. I am so over these Fitbit issues. I could understand if I paid 50.00 or less but 200.00 for a 2.5 month usage. I had a Charge 2 for 8 months prior to a screen crack out of nowhere, WTH is the problem??? I am ready for Fitbit to ship up or ship out!
Changed it already and guess what??? NOPE! STILL NOTHING! Good Grief..... this is ridiculous!

I am a UK user. Bought my Charge 3 in January 2019 so was entitled to a 2 year warranty. The unit failed last June (lines then blank screen) and they duly replaced it. All good until last week when the second unit failed in exactly the same way. I tried the various diagnostic reboots to no avail.
Fitbit suggested I had a replacement in mid February (I was in India at the time) which I did not. Eventually when I supplied them with all the corrispondence and evidence they told be I was NOT entitled to a replacement under the terms of their warranty policy which they provided a link to.
I carefully read the policy and nowhere could I find why I was not entitled to another replacement or repair under the terms of the policy which entitled me to 2 years cover.
I have contacted them twice since but they will not reply.
Total scam company. I bought my wife and daughter Charge 3 watches and have an Aria 2 scale. That is over £400 down the drain!!!

So I get my replacement Charge 3 on Friday. Let's see how long this one lasts. My daughter has just received her Charge 3 replacement and we're both keeping our fingers crossed.

@AlejandraFitbitI purchased four Fitbit Charge 3's for my family of four. In the last three weeks, three of us have had major problems. We troubleshot two of them, but my screen is blurry. Would you help me get a replacement?

I have tried everything on my fitbit 3 to get the display to work, my fitbit just keeps buzzing and then it will flash screen wake and notification, but it just keeps buzzing at me. Can't seem to get it to work.
I have done the reset of 15 second hold and restart
I have done set up new **ahem** face
I have done set up new device
no my fitbit seems to be dead.
it does nothing when you push the button.

So, I was having this issue, restarting didn't help but device was working and updating app on phone. I changed clock face using app and could barely see it, extremely dim. Turned off all lights and managed to get to the settings tab where I found the brightness had somehow gotten set to dim. Reset to normal and now everything is working fine. They really need to make it so you can set brightness using the phone app

My fitbit display is also black and won't display anything. The red light in the back is stuck on. It won't sync and won't restart. It vibrates when I press the button. I think it is due to a bad software update. I have tried all listed solutions without success, and now it is stuck unpaired and no display to view the pairing code. Fitbit says the warranty is expired. I have owned 4 fitbits and enjoyed having them, but they have all had issues resulting in them being unusable. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the product. Hopefully potential customers become aware of the frequency of problems fitbit has. Many others I know have also had many problems with fitbits and will not buy the brand anymore.
