Charge3 screen is blank. I’ve tried to reset but to no avail.

Same here. I tried resetting a few times. I could see the smiley face, and nothing. Not even the battery icon. It syncs with my cell phone, but I am not getting anything on the display.

I tried this several times and no go. It's still tracking, I just can't see the time or I haven't been able for weeks to get notified of calls and text messages

I have reset my watch several times. The smiley face appears but goes away and then the screen is still black.

It’s June 2020 and this issue still hasn’t been fixed. Fitbit suggests reviving the battery and resetting but I can’t see anything on my display, it started weeks ago and now it seems to be completely gone

I've tried everything recommended. Still no display, although still sinking with the phone but sometimes I want to see the time!! . Super bummer.
What is everybody else doing - getting a Charge 4??

I am having the same issues with my charge 3 - in the past changing the clock face worked, now it doesn't. Yesterday putting it on the charge and holding the 'button' worked, today it won't. And the online chat support isn't working - any other suggestions?

This is the same thing that just started happening this evening to my charge 3 screen.
I’m having the same issue with the screen. Were you able to resolve it?

Yes. See the comment by SteveH, on the first page of this thread. That worked for me. Good luck.

I have the same problem, the screen is on but I can’t see nothing. Tried all the resets available several times with no joy. Had this watch just over a year, didn’t realise this was only how long they’re meant to last!! Absolute joke

I've tried your instructions and it doesn't make my display operational again. The tracker works, I just have no display. I had this problem with my previous Charge 3, this one is a replacement. Now this one isn't working. I don't get it wet or bang it about. It's very frustrating.

Thanks! Tried all recommendations, but no success in restoring the screen to full functionality. Luckily, I’ve only had the charge 3 for 10 months, so Fitbit is sending me a replacement.

This has recently happened to me, my Charge 3 is 18 months old and I absolutely love it. But over the last few week the display became increasingly dimmer and now there is nothing on the display at all. The only way that I can tell that it is on is the green light on the back.
I have tried several short resets, a long reset, changing the clock face, nothing has worked..... What else can I do?

I have the same issue. Have been using and loving my charge 3 since September 2018. Since a few months the lighting on the screen seems to be stuck at dim, which was annoying enough. But now the screen has been black for a few days, the clock change worked for 2 seconds after which it stayed black. I have now tried changing the clock for days, have done multiple soft resets but for a hard reset one needs the screen. It tracks everything just fine but the screen stays off. What can I do?
