Bought my Fitbit Charge 3 on Saturday. Tracked my sleep first night, hasn’t since for last 3 nights. Have to keep putting it on charger and restarting. Few hours later it appears on watch and phone. Can’t keep doing this! Any ideas?

I completely reset my iPhone (wiped the phone and reinstalled everything). This did not correct it for me.

I started another thread because I originally thought this one was from last year. Clearly it's not. I'm sure they will close my thread.
I've contacted them now about 6-8 times. I've had my device since May, a replacement I purchased after my previous device got hot and quit working.
After I manually added my sleep (per their instructions, and it was a guess), their supervisor emailed back on my ticket and told me there was no problem because all of my nights sleep were tracked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously? I know they can see if you added it manually or not. It is quite random, and I've completely wiped and reinstalled all of my apps on my phone to try to fix it.
Totally not worth it. I've been an avid FitBit fan and promoter for years, I have always chosen these devices over others due to their quality and support. Now support treats me as if I am unable to read a help menu or follow a simple instruction, and they even went so far as to tell me they checked to see "if other users were experiencing the same issue" and they said no, they could find no evidence of other users having the same problem. But here you all are!

Truly unacceptable.

I’ve given up contacting them and have to just plug into charger every morning to update it on my phone. Most of the time it doesn’t show on the watch, unless I constantly restart it - something which I surely shouldn’t be doing daily?

New FitBit user after xmas present. Charge 3 appears buggy as. Every problem i have is in this forum (such as this one) has clearly been reported months ago.
Your engineering teams need a shake up!

Temp fix that bypasses an actual solution. FitBit is incapable of an actual fix for this issue. 🙄

None of the above work at all for me. My C3 tracks no sleep stages at all for the past week. Restarted the tracker, checked for updates, manually entered sleep times, deleted sleep log and refreshed then manually entered sleet times. Nothing is working.

They say this issue has been answered, but my tracker has been having these same issues for over 6 months. I have done all 4 suggestions step by step procedures to get it to track my sleep and none of them actually work. No real solutions IMHO

Nope. Sorry. These steps don't work either. And this issue is still happening for over a year

I am having the same issue with my charge3. I’ve tried resetting it, wearing it loose and wearing it tighter. It registers about an hour of sleep and then just stops. I’m very frustrated with this

Just wanted to say that I have decided to ignore sleep stages & look for another product. I get same response every time which never works for reporting sleep stages. I’m reminded definition of insanity is keep doing same thing & expecting different results. So either I’m insane or Fitbit is!!

My second sleep with my brand new charge 3 - and 2 out of 2 times no sleep data registered.
Am really really dissapointed - the Alta HR i borrowed has been reading my sleep from day 1 with not one single glitch and then i buy this crap :(:(
All the advice in this thread of updating, typing in sleep times manual, restart etc its useless it doesnt work.
Will someone please address this or did all thr fitbit people go to the bar to spend their millions ?

This worked for me for today, but tried to make it work for previous days and will not work.
Thank you for the tip. All I have to do now is remember to hit that + if my sleep does not sync that morning.
Thanks again.

What + button is that ?
I dont know if its a coincidence but ive managed to have tracking going now for 2 days here - and what i think i did was to loosen it alot more than would normally feel right.
