Bought my Fitbit Charge 3 on Saturday. Tracked my sleep first night, hasn’t since for last 3 nights. Have to keep putting it on charger and restarting. Few hours later it appears on watch and phone. Can’t keep doing this! Any ideas?

I took the advice of superbonbon and deleted the app from my phone and then reinstalled it and then it worked. So there was something wrong with the app, and instead of announcing it, you suffer until you figure it out on your own. I finally got it to synch.

I took the advice of the person using an iPad even though I have a pixel 3, so I deleted the app from my phone and then reinstalled it and then it worked. Still not working! My Fitbit is useless to me. I am disappointed in their inability to fix this in a reasonable amount of time. This is the last Fitbit I will purchase.

I have to confess, I was the biggest detractor regarding the H3 inability to properly / constantly monitor sleep like the H2.... then magically , it started working like it should and that was shortly after an update .... I took Fitbit of my x mas card list, but they’re back on 👍🏼

Last week I posted how I got it to work, and now, no synch up at all, all day, no matter where I am.

No, my did NOT continue to work. It did not synch up at all, all day long. But I already know that I didn't sleep well, so I won't see a poor rating of my sleep

Ugh I thought it was just mine and now I locked myself out of my Fitbit. It tracked my sleep Monday and hasn’t since since. It was one of my most important features. Any fix in this??

When u rebooted it said to tap to unlock then it wanted me to select a number. I had never happened so I had no idea what numbers to scroll to.

I don’t understand what happens after you restart the device. Can you
reword it?

After reading all these forum items I went back into my sleep info on the app and realized I had a 7 hour sleep goal but set my sleep and wake up at 8 hours! Changed the sleep/wake to a 7 hour time and my tracker is now showing my sleep! Hope this helps someone!

I agree. Why would I buy a Fitbit if I had to enter my sleep data manually? I don’t know how much deep sleep I got! There seems no rhyme or reason why it sometimes skips a night and fixes itself the next day! It is so annoying. I though that would stop with my new Charge 3. I am also inundated with ads to pay more for more information. Why would I pay more when I can’t even get basic sleep data consistently?

The same situation here! It seems random. Spending too much time trying to get the basics on the Fitbit. Nothing seems to fix it except hope it syncs the next day.

Three days ago, my device stopped tracking my sleep. After the second fail, I restarted the Fitbit and sleep for the previous evening showed up. But this past nights sleep hasn’t shown up once again. In my more than a year of owning the device, this has ever happened before. I am a software developer and I know a bug when I see one. You need to fix this ASAP.

Thanks for your post. I restarted my phone and re-booted Fitbit but also didn’t get past sleep data. It helps to know it’s not just me.
