Hi,
My Charge 3 which had been working perfectly has suddenly developed lots of white lines down the screen. I've restarted it twice but that hasn't helped, anyone have any other suggestions please?

how is that the best answer?! you didn't answer anything. How do you fix a corrupted screen?? This is now my 2nd charge 3 and the 2nd time I'm having display issues. Why does the product quality keep going down?
how do I fix this? I'm not buying another one

My Charge 3 was replaced 4 months ago after experiencing a corrupted screen. It is apparently a hardware issue and replacement is the only solution. Mine is still working fine and have my fingers crossed that I have no further issues with it.
Reading about this elsewhere on the forum, indicates that screen corruption is a very common problem, so Fitbit obviously need to address 'quality control' on their products.
Garmin are more expensive but seem to have less issues.

Mine just developed these vertical white lines too, last night when i plugged it in to charge it, or rather I saw it when I took it off the charger. I can't figure out how to send the photo i took. I tried both the 8 second restart and the 15 second restart, still doing it.

Didnt work. I really like the device and have tried restarting it what else could I do?

I am having this exact same issue. I've reached out to Fitbit support and I'm waiting to hear back. I'm so disappointed. 😞

Any other solutions to this issue? Mine died (I almost never let the battery completely run down, but today it could not be helped) and now after plugging in the screen is white/gray with vertical stripes somewhat visible. The screen is also a bit unresponsive. I've tried restarting my device and doing a long restart, but the long restart only helped fix a small portion of the screen.

My warranty just expired (it was a year old in December), they can only offer 25% off a new one. I'm furious.

After over 2 months and a lot of emails and calls i finally got a full refund. They'd already sent me 3 replacements and I was not going to take a 4th. Neither would I accept 50% off a different device. It seemed pointless to have yet another replacement to just get the same issue. I will not be buying another that's for sure.

I am experiencing this problem too with a Charge 3 I received about 4 months ago.
Usually I would go to the store I purchased from but obviously that isn't possible at the moment.
Are Fitbit replacing defective devices that were not purchased directly from them?

Call customer service. They replaced mine.
Yes, it seems to be a common problem for Charge 3. Call customer service. Good luck.

My wife’s Charge 3 had the same problem with the vertical white lines as everyone else here. This is the second device that had this problem. Support was absolutely no help, the rep was reading from a script. All they could offer was 25% off another device. Not acceptable and certainly not happy with their handling of this issue. I’m done with Fitbit and their shoddy products.
