Charge 3 screen went blank

Got this yesterday and the screen is already black and won’t turn on. Very very disappointed, looks like it’s a common issue. I’d rethink getting this, a shame it’s so common for the anticipation of this...

This is an update.
I went through three Charge 3 units and all three went to black screen. The first replacement never had a screen show up.
After a year of disappointment, restarts, emails, promises and no data for my health maintenance team/insurance; I finally got a refund.
THANKS FITBIT TEAM😊😊

My Charge 3 Special Edition screen went out too. It still syncs and vibrates when I press the side button. But nothing on the screen. So I can't power down or reset it. Tried the suggestions of plugging it into the charger, holding power button 8 seconds. Tried changing clock face multiple times. Nothing but blank screen. I suppose I need to open a ticket to get it replaced.

How did you get customer service to send you another one???? My LED screen is so faint that I can only see it in a dark room now. I have been emailing Fitbit customer services since July and they just keep saying be patient and they are working on a fix. I really needed the Fitbit for a 300km bike ride at the start of September but they would not send a replacement. I no longer use the Fitbit. As everyone else has said, I have had no problems with the Alta or Charge 2 but I do a lot of swimming which is why I changed to the charge 3. I am really disappointed ☹️

Can I ask how long you had your Fitbit for? I have asked and asked since July for a replacement or a refund but they just keep telling me to be patient. I bought my fitbit last December.

I have had lots of different problems on and off with the Charge 3 and what I really want is a refund as I want to buy another brand now as I have had enough of Fitbit

Thank you

I had it for just under one year and they replaced it just time for me. Since then I never had a problem with it.

I got an email from support with form to fill out so they can send me another. I just provided support with the issue and a copy of my receipt from purchase.

That’s the point. A $150 dollar device that’s useless in < one year. No repairs only replacement.
