I've had my Charge 3 a little over a month. Last night my screen went blank. It was at 100% battery. It is still syncing with the app so I can see that it is still tracking my steps and sleep, etc. When I tried to restart it by placing it on the charger and holding down the side button for 8 secs. When I hold the button down it does a very quick pulse vibe about 4 times and then nothing. I've tried holding it longer than 8 secs also and still nothing. Very frustrated to be having this issue with a brand new product. Contemplating returning the one I bought my husband for Christmas and returning mine as well if not resolved immediately.

I’m having the same problem and that solution did not work. I also read somewhere that changing the clock face via the app could work, but this has not worked either.
how can I get this resolved?

I’m with you! I am SO upset with Fitbit! What happened to them?!? over 5 years ago, I asked around and everyone said how great they were, so I bought my first one.
Now I feel like I’ve wasted my loyalty/money on a deceptive company/product!
I can’t believe one of the other posters warranty was up at the end of March -in the midst of a global pandemic! and they can’t give her a break?!? wow.
Im so mad that I’ve spent so much on accessories (bands), that are for this brand.

I purchased my Charge 3 in Feb'20. It died in May and I tried all of the troubleshooting steps with no success. Fitbit sent two replacements. They both were dead on arrival. I'm waiting for notification that a 3rd replacement is being sent. I promptly returned my two failed replacements to Fitbit.
My Charge 3 lasted for 3 months and I've spent the last month going back and forth with Fitbit sending faulty replacements. The company has totally dropped the ball.
I'm frustrated and vowing to never purchase a Fitbit again.

I tried all the suggestions and my screen is still blank. I plugged it in the charger and held button down for 15 seconds and then unplugged. Nothing seems to be working. I had this device for less than a year. Never had a problem with my Charge 2 and had that device for 3 years. I don't know what to do.

What makes the Fitbit get into this mode?

Faulty product produced by Fitbit and apparently their engineers/tech people do not know what to do about it since they never provide a solution. Based upon what I see on this community share it is a common problem and not an unusual thing.
I have purchased by last Fitbit product and telling my friends about my negative experience. The one that went bad was a replacement for one that went bad under warranty. It did not last a year either but the year warranty is based upon the first date purchased.

I have the same problem as AlejandraFitbit and, it seems, a host of other people. The screen on my Charge 3, which was bought on November 14th 2019, has become unresponsive. I have tried all of the quick fixes recommended; I've changed the watch display face, I've tried putting it on the charger and holding down the button on the side of it for eight seconds, for fifteen seconds and so on. Sometimes the Fitbit responds by vibrating or by a line moving across the display and once by displaying the smiley face, but that's it. The screen is still stubbornly black. It is still feeding information to the app on my phone so I know it's still got some functionality but it is now useless as a watch. What next?

Hi,
I’ve had my Charge 3 since beginning of lockdown and it’s been great until yesterday when it just kept buzzing and going blank. I reset it per instructions on this thread and it seemed fine. It’s logged my e revise this morning but the screen is now completely blank, it won’t connect with the app via Bluetooth and the button on the side doesn’t “press” when you hold it. Help!!!

I've bought my charge 3 in march 2019.
Everything went fine till this week.
I can't read my screen anymore. On monday this week it seemed that there was a kind of dot in the center of my screen. Today, friday, the spot is getting bigger and bigger.
I've already done a restart, changed the brightness, ... but nothing works.
I've made a picture but I can't get it in this message.
What can I do? Is there a solution or is my charge 3 completly broken?
