Charge 3 screen went blank

I've had my Charge 3 a little over a month. Last night my screen went blank. It was at 100% battery. It is still syncing with the app so I can see that it is still tracking my steps and sleep, etc. When I tried to restart it by placing it on the charger and holding down the side button for 8 secs. When I hold the button down it does a very quick pulse vibe about 4 times and then nothing. I've tried holding it longer than 8 secs also and still nothing. Very frustrated to be having this issue with a brand new product. Contemplating returning the one I bought my husband for Christmas and returning mine as well if not resolved immediately.

I just received my Fitbit Charge 3 yesterday. I first plugged it in my computer received the Smiley Face then tried to sync it to iPhone but battery was too low therefore left it in the charge . Retried the sync 2 hours later but the screen is blank and I cannot get it back on. Tried plugging in the wall , in several different plugs and will not turn on . Brand New watch form the box... Not impressed with first experience.

Would not replace mine and it was just over six months from date of
purchase.

Hi all

 

I contacted Customer Services this morning and they are sending out a complementary replacement Charge 3. They also offered 50% discount on a new Fitbit, but the Charge 4 was excluded.

Hello, I'm having the same issue. My Charge 3 vibrates but the screen is blank. I've followed the recommended instructions to restart it but screen is still blank. Its been 4 days now.  There was a software update which was done successfully but it didn't fixed the blank screen. Although my data is still being collected, it's extremely frustrating looking at a blank screen.  Please HELP!

Mine went dead on Sunday, rather spooky.

 

I raised an on line chat and was offered either 50% off a new one (with some exclusions) or a replacement

My mom gave me her old charge 3. it worked fine for like a month then my screen went blank. I still feel it pulse and to make matters worse I had to get rid of my fitbit app and it didn't save that i had a charge 3 in my account synced. so when i try to set it up it wont let me cause i cant see the 4 digit code that's suppose to be on the fitbit screen. i have no idea what to do and its getting very frustrating. the warranty does not apply here because its been so long.

My device’s screen went black 12 days ago. I tried the suggested solutions but it still doesn’t work. Syncing works fine though. I am very disappointed that this device even didn’t make through one year without having to replace the wristband and now without a working display.

Hi everyone i have the Fitbit charge 3 and tye screen is gone black i have tried everything thing possible but no luck have connected to the charger and hold for 15 min  no face show in have change the clock but still nothing 

Is any one in here know any new tricks please let me know

I have followed the advice posted here 20 times.  Hold button while charging for 15 seconds. Remove, plug in again. 

No smiley face. But it is syncing with my phone and it pulses when I hold it down, green light on.

Advice??

I have been reading the responses that say you just have to keep trying.  I’m now in Day 3 of trying. 

I also see that some people say to charge it to 100% so I’ll try that.

my screen started with a white stripe where you could barely read the numbers to complete blackness is there a fix for this?

I have tried this sequence several times and I still have a blank screen. Is there anything else that can be done to solve this issue??

I called Fitbit support. Mine could not be fixed.

Hi

I tried all suggestions and then opened a chat with their support team. They gave me to options, which was a replacement Charge 3 or 50% off a new one, although this excluded some of the new models.
