I find the Charge 2 had a darker screen, the 3 I can barely read it, in fact never try, just grab my phone to read the time and steps

I swiped it and saw the word manual but it’s so dim I can’t even read the time or anything. Now it’s just s black screen even when plugged in and try to restart it

Let me help you with your Charge 3 screen. Thank for the feedback. Have you tried adjusting its brightness level? Swipe the screen to the left until you reach the settings option, tap it and then tap on Brightness to scroll through the different options.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you, this is a change they need to address.
Adjust brightness on the app.
Mine is unreadable. Can’t read it to see settings has to increase brightness.
Hopefully they will fix this big flaw on any new fitbits.

My concern is how long with the replacement last? Like you we paid a lot of money for this device and I surely expected more than 6 months from it. My replacement came in late July so hope it lasts way after Christmas. I really like this device and want to keep it for a while.

Fitbit is refusing to honor Warrantys with a "We're working on it" response. Only true resolved ones are earlier complaints were the pebble was replaced. But for several months now it appears from forum that Fitbit is refusing to honor with their "working on it" replies!
It wod be extremely helpful if you posted How you increased the brightness!
Same thing for me! Fitbit refuses to honor Warranty by using the same "We're working on it" replay which they've been using for several months now.

Apparently I was one of the lucky ones, Fitbit replaced mine with a new one. That's how I increased the brightness. I hope they come around and honor your warranty
