At first the fit-bit charge 3 started vibrating, then the notification screen kept blinking. then it died.I manage to do an restart on it before it died.  I let it charge to the full. it lasted for an hour then it was dead again. It stayed non-responsive. It wouldn't charge. completely dead, so I thought. This morning (12/26/2018) I tried it again, it responded by blinking, vibrating and switching between screens again.

I bought a new bought a new one and while changing the band I think I figured it out. Apparently the connection at the bottom (not top) of the screen does something weird. I got my old one working with a different band. Too bad I had already bought a new one.

My Charge 3 just did the same thing everyone has described and experienced. I have been using different Fitbit devices for over 6 years now and y husband just got one last year as well. I keep advocating for fitbit when lots of my friends keep ditching it. My brother had a versa and has ditched fitbit after all the trouble he went through. I am about to do the same as every time there's an issue, they simply replace it. While this is a good gesture, the Manufacturers should actually be thinking of how to improve the product and make it last longer. Constantly changing the device is a pain in the butt!!!

I think it's time for me to bid fitbit fare thee well; especially now that we are in a pandemic with travel restrictions. Although I bought mine in the UK, I am currently out of the country on fieldwork and most certain that even if I wanted it replaced none will be shipped to me as I am out of the UK.

YES!! My “replacement” Fitbit just started doing this same thing and it’s not been a long enough time for this device to conk out on me again. I’m extremely disappointed and will be going to another company for fitness watches from here out. I count on this watch so much to keep me motivated and it flat out stinks that it’s given out on me twice now.

They replaced mine as it was under a year old but it seems to be a very common problem

I am having the same issues and have tried this fix as well. I worked for a few days but now it is back to blinking again...

I seem to be having the same issue as everyone else. I did the 15 second method, but it’s stuck on the little loading bar.

I've tried the live chat but no one has answered me.

My charge is 18 months old, out of warranty. For last 3 months occassionally wont turn on. But yesterday the flickering and vibrating started. I did the reset instructions, and it seemed to work. 6 hours later the flickering starts again. Battery used really quickly and reset doesnt seem to work.

Now I see that this issue is very common. I am so sad because this was my first watch, and I saved and used my birthday money to buy it. I thought a watch should last a long time 😞
