I just got the new Charge 4 yesterday. I set it up and synced it to my phone. It is not getting text notifications. I've tried rebooting it, turned on and off Bluetooth, made sure notifications are on in the app. Still nothing.

This worked for me thank you...i've spent a very frustrating 3 weeks trying to resolve this on my charge 4!!
YES!! Except my sleep mode was off (I turn it on and off manually every night/ morning) but it was going into DND mode when I turned it off! I got the test call to work finally, so hopefully i will also get my other messages again now too! Thank you!
I found the answer, well deffo worked for me! Yes I checked all the do not disturbs etc and nothing worked. I then went on my Fitbit app and clicked on Notifications/App Notifications and checked off all the ones there. Worked straight away

Best AnswerThank you so much @Argos400 you fixed it for me I think. Now I just need someone to text me, although I did set up whatsapp so that should give me some love soon.
Yours is the best answer on here, don't know why fitbit always vote theirs the best, well okay I do really, they're biased.
UPDATE
Oh wow, my raise to wake wasn't working either. I just thought I must be doing it wrong, even though I just came from Charge 2, and it worked fine on that 99% of the time. But no, my Charge 4 must've come in sleep mode, or maybe I put in by accident, as I've often gone into screen by accident by holding the button down to try and start stopwatch, as you did on one of my previous devices. Before that I used to start stopwatch holding button to try and start exercise haha.
And now it's working. All I had to do was turn sleep mode off. But now I have another issue, the same as I had with my Charge 2. Every time I go near my phone, restart it, charge after battery ran out, it sends me all my notifications again. I only have two notifications allowed for each calendar item on my iPhone, but today I woke up, sleep focus on my phone switched off at 7am, and suddenly it sent about 10 notifications right after each other, for the one event I have on today. Ridiculous!
@fitness26 don't know if this is still a problem.
Mine switched DND on when I took sleep off.
I found it simpler to set by holding down the button on the device, then touch icons until they grey out, if they're white they're on as far as I can tell.
END UPDATE
I was thinking it was something to do with me not having space on my 6 year old iPhone, so I set the app up on my Samsung tablet first. Of course this can't get phone notifications, and I thought maybe it's still attached to the tablet, and maybe I need to disconnect from that but I was reluctant because it was so hard. I did find room on my phone by updating in recovery mode using my PC. I was also thinking maybe my phone is too old, but I've had Charge HR and Charge 2 both giving notifications.
Today I thought I should be able to fix this niggling problem. Decided to google one last time, and I found this. Checked all the settings again on iPhone and the fitbit app, all were exactly as comments said. And then I got to your answer. I didnt think that would be it, but I checked settings on my actual fitbit instead. Turns out my fitbit was in sleep mode right out of the box, and when I took it out, it was in DND mode, no not Dungeons and Dragons, Do Not Disturb. So I took that off too, and I'm hoping it's fixed now, and I don't see why it wouldn't be. Funny, I had gone into the screen by accident so many times, by holding the button down, which did something different on my old Charge 2 I think. I'd looked at it, but didn't really understand what it meant. I think you actually want the icons for sleep and DND to be greyed out, otherwise they're on.
Argh and after half an hour I check my phone and Mr 2.5 has put it in flight mode haha. Maybe should've given my fitbit to him to sort, he seems even more tech savvy than me, and I'm so tech savvy I'm studying IT.
Best AnswerDid you check sleep mode and do not disturb on the actual fitbit device itself?
I had checked everything else, this I think has fixed it for me, now I just need a phone call or text to confirm.
Hold down button on the side, if DND and sleep are not greyed out, they're on, as far as I can tell, and I think it might be the default. Can confirm by scrolling far right to settings.
