- Sleep is not getting tracked properly. post1 post2
- Steps are getting recorded while driving a car (might get fixed with a software update, wouldn't hold my breath). post1 post2 post3
- Swim tracking is very inaccurate. post1
- UI is badly designed (might or might not get fixed with a software update). post1 post2 post3 post4 post5 post6 post7 post8 post9
- Weather is very slow to synch post1
- Loads of synchronization problems, especially with iPhones (will 99.9% certain get fixed over time). post1 post2 post3 post4
- Cannot adjust screen turn off delay. post1
- Doesn't disable screen wakeups during night automatically (might get fixed, wouldn't hold my breath). suggestion
- Inaccurate step tracking  post1 post2 post3 post4 post5 post6
- Heart rate monitor doesn't work properly with tattoos (probably can't be fixed). post1
- Very few clock faces and no date (they are 99.99% certain going to fix this, don't worry). suggestion
- Does not synch with MyFitnessPal (fixed). post1 post2
- Really bad support for Fitbit NFC payment globally (seem like mostly US only feature, don't hold your breath Europe) post1
- Cheap hardware (you get what you pay for, see posts about hw problems).

- Cannot be turned off post1

 - No always on screen option post1

- Legibility of the screen post1 suggestion1  suggestion2

NOTE: Even though some people are having issues with their Charge 3 there are many more people out there whose Charge 3 is working as intended by Fitbit.

Regrettably this is typical of Fitbit's approach to product devvelopment and customer service. It is to be hoped that now there is a poetntial sale to Google [Alphabet] that things will improve. R-

the worst things are when you read up their documentation and compare to the real application it doesn't match up. Like when you sync your device to the app its always and always requires an internet connection and location information(GPS) without even thinking that you only need to sync some certain alarms that you manually change into the app. as I read only it needs Bluetooth to sync your data, now it needs more. There are also moments that when you try to use the connected GPS it fails a lot. It also happened that when I'm riding an L300 van it automatically records as Biking activity. LOL...LOL...LOL... I'm just thinking does this company have a Quality Assurance developer? They even release their product which packed with bunch of failure tests...

Problem with my Fitbit Charg 3 is fading the screen day by day finally it dead. This happened just after one year, I contacted fitbit support center. This is the response I got

Response from Fitbit on 26-MAR2020

After checking in our system, we are able to see that the warranty of your Charge 3 started back on February 12th 2019 and ended on February 12th 2020. Although this isn’t eligible for replacement since the warranty is already expired, we want to keep you in the Fitbit family and working toward your goals. Please accept a discount toward the purchase of any one of the devices on fitbit.com

My request to the public :

Fitbit sold defective product and offering 25% discount after the warranty. Shame on fitbit company. If you search in the google so many people gave a complaint that charge3 screen has problem so Fitbit know that the product has defect instead of fixing the defect they are selling defective product and after one year Fitbit offering 25% discount. I am not going to buy their products any more.

Shame on Fitbit  selling the defect products to the customer.  My request to the public please do not buy their products. You will suffer one day.

Google Fitbit ceo and complain that’s what I did when tech support refused
to do anything, I was offered a new Fitbit charge 3 or a full refund. If
you live in Australia our laws say if you can reasonably expect something
to last longer than 12 months you are entitled to replacement, repair or
refund.
