My Charge 3 is not receiving text message notifications. Before anyone tells me advice on what do to I have walked through several troubleshooting steps directly with the FitBit telephonic assistance. This message is to inform the community that I am one of MANY other Charge 3 users with this problem and to share my disappointment with this product. I am a cancer patient working with oncologists, heath counselors and psych through the healing. My husband bought this for me as a gift through my healing process. I am completely disappointed.

@AprilFit I suggest choosing the board for your phone model then do a search on how to fix your phone - Fitbit issue, or ask in the board for your phone.

Hi everyone, thank you for your ideas and input. I now can receive my messages on the Fitbit but only if I allow my message to be completely seen on my phone as well. That’s a pain bc kids are nosey 😂

After years it still does not working. I have a Sansung A20. My Fitbit is up to version 3:16 But Text Msg Still Does Not Work !!!!

@Marina067 sorry but as explained, this change is required because of changes in the latest iOS.
@Darseman can you view your text messages on your phones lock screen. Have you checked the help docs?

I have an Android Samsung A20, I haven't figure anything out. I made sure push notifications is enabled and every permission is enabled , the latest App version is installed, It Still Does Not Work.

I did the reboot and nothing changed. My fitbit charge 3 won't sync nor give me notifications. I have no idea what to do now!!! Please help me!

@Darseman is your phone set to show notifications while its screen is locked?
Have you tried logging out of the Fitbit app? When logging in the app should refresh needed permissions. You might also have to enable notifications in the Fitbit app.

I have done everything multiple times. I logged out and in of the Fitbit app. The notifications are enabled in the Fitbit app. The permissions are enabled for the Fitbit app. Push notifications are enabled. You got me on show notifications when phone is locked, don't know what that is, what it means or where to find it

When your phones screen is turned off and you would need to enter your unlock code, do you still get and read your notifications without having to unlock the phone?

Thanks, Rich, I checked the setting, rebooted the Alta HR and rebooted the iPhone 7. It still doesn't work. I'll not waste anymore time on this.
