Reminders to move not working

Hi,

I have been struggling to find out what is going on with my fitbit. I recently got it and for the first couple of days it reminded me to move but just stopped reminding me for the past 2 days.

I spoke to the help desk and they suggested I reboot the fitbit and turn the more remind off, but still its not working. 

Did anyone have the same problem and is there anyway to get it to work again? 

Maybe its faulty and I need to return it to the store?

I am having the same issues with my Charge 3. I, too, have rebooted several times, turned off reminders, notices, turned it all back on, everything without success. I agree it was a bad update. So far, I haven't been able to get the reminders to work at all.

You've probably fixed this by now, but I noticed that the DND (Do Not Disturb) feature was ported onto the Charge 3 with the last upgrade. This stopped my reminders to move from working because I had it set by accident. Couldn't find any guidance for the Charge 3, but from the Charge 4 manual, it's set when the "no entry" sign is lit. It's off when the icon is unlit (or for some reason, has one "dot" lit at the top after you've left the setting and go back in to check). You get at DND with a long push on the side button.

Same here -- since they did a firmware update in August. I have tried and retired every suggestion. Today, out of the blue, started getting email on my fitbit from my gmail account and did not ask for this. I think I turned it off but I am getting fed up.

I'm on my second Fitbit and the reminders never work consistently. Real let down again. Rebooting, turning reminders on and off occasionally work but very quickly stops again. Definitely a Fitbit problem. Perhaps the powers that be should be working on this???? $15 a month in Canada for Fitbit premium and they can't figure this out??? Jokes on me for buying another Fitbit I guess

I tried everything, and it all didn't work, until I saw your comment Rich_Laue, thank you so much.

I followed tour link  https://www.fitbit.com/settings

And turned the reminder to move off and on from there and it worked immediately

I found a workaround:
Use google assistant and say "Reminder to move in an hour". Be sure sure to have Google enabled to show notification on your fitbit. Once the hour is over, you'll get a notification. You can click it and you'll have a button "1 hour" if you want to move the reminder.

Mine randomly doesn’t send reminders. Works for a couple of hours and then doesn’t 1 hour, repeatedly. I thought maybe it’s because I hadn’t synced with the app. Nope. Shutdown and soft reboot, nope. Did a full reset back to factory, Nope. Still happens. The closest I’ve come is to do 3 soft reboots in a row. That will work for about 2-3 days then it starts again. No, I don’t have quiet modes or do not disturb enabled either. I was eying the Charge 5, but fell into a 1/2 off deal for the sense that wasn’t applicable to the Charge. Very disappointed.

Another daily reminder to never buy fitbit ever again.
in 8 month of usage it has constant issues connecting and requires a full reset. Notifications work sometimes only. The app store disappeared. Reminder to move doesn't work. Now it won't even connect.

My reminders to move turns off right away by itself each time I turn it on.  It shows as on in the time to get moving tile, but keeps turning off under the daily activity settings in activity and wellness.  I’ve tried everything suggested more than once and it’s still not working.

Having these reminders is an important part of my daily routine.  Please help!

Exactly the same issue here, ‘reminders to move’ turns off in the app immediately after I click out of that page. It’s so annoying, I miss having the reminders but can’t fathom out why it’s defaulting to off!
