Hello,
I am using my Inspire HR only a few days, but find that the step count is way off. Only today I put the Inspire to charge and already the count show 1.662 steps. (1.32KM) We do not have a small house, but to walk that many steps will not happen. This was my confirmation of suspecting the same during the past few days. Since I used the Inspire, it gives me consistent way more steps, and distance, than I actually did. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks.

I'm returning mine tomorrow as well. I'm thinking of going for a Samsung. It's similar to the Fitbit. Just hoping it works.

I returned the inspire hr and got the galaxy fit. Much better accuracy from the start. I can only urge everbody to return the inspire/ charge 3 to Fitbit. This seems the only solution as they are clearly not listening to all the frustrated customers. Their silence makes me believe it's not a software problem but a hardware one. They already said they were looking into a software update but clearly that won't happen and the only option would be a recall.
If a recall is the only way then do it. It will show you are honest and customers will respect you. However, just being silent made Fitbit lose a lot of customers. I pretty much convinced about 12 of my work colleagues to return their device and nearly half of those also moved to the Samsung fit.
Shame, I a really enjoyed the previous Fitbit charge 2 along with their app and community, but simply ignoring customers is a big red sign for me.

I am so disappointed in the Inspire HR that I bought on Monday. The step count is ridiculously over. I have it marked as being on the dominant arm (though it isn't). I am accumulating thousands of steps in the car. The main reason I bought this was for the pedometer feature. I am probably going to take it back. What a disaster of a product!

I returned my Fitbit today. It sat in the box all day. Just before I walked into the shop I checked. 700 steps and calories burned nearly 1000! Glad I have returned it. Such a waste of time.

Sadly I only found this forum after having owned my Inspire HR for a month. Too late to return. I am however so disappointed in its performance that I believe it to be not fit for purpose and therefore under the consumer rights bill of 2005 the product must be of reasonable quality.
The quality of goods is satisfactory if they meet the standard that a reasonable person would consider satisfactory, taking account of—
(a) any description of the goods,
(b) the price or other consideration for the goods (if relevant), and
(c) all the other relevant circumstances (see subsection (5)).
I think it’s fair to say that under UK law the product is not satisfactory based on description. I’ll keep you all posted.......

Yesterday I have returned my device as well as my wife's. I am going to try Samsung Fit. Sorry to see such indifferent attitude by Fitbit. Good luck to them

I would search fitness trackers on Amazon before you invest a lot of
money. You might be surprised at what
you find!😉

Actually Fitbit needs to do a major overhaul on the software for the Inspire models or a total recall of them. We as a community have been reporting, complaining, and begging for a resolution
to these problems since the Inspire models were released. Many have already returned theirs and we have been warning anyone who will listen to look elsewhere when considering a fitness tracker.
We would like an ETA of any future fixes because the ones that Fitbit has suggested DO NOT WORK!!!!
I would welcome a software update but frankly at this point a recall and refund would make me much happier.
I hope you will take my comments and suggestions seriously enough to actually
do something that makes us as a community happy.
