It still vibrates when I hit the button. I saw the smile once but haven't seen it since and nothing is working. Very frustrating given its only 2 weeks old. Is there a solution or hard reset?

Got time but won't move to anything else. Just started today. Syncs fine with app.

Same problem, I can see the smiley face and the serial number but that's it. It broke a few weeks after I bought it, never used again. That happened almost a year ago. The Fitbit still does the same when I tried to restart but nothing have change since then. Never buying again a Fitbit.

These devices are absolutely terrible. So many people with the same issue and no answers from this company.
How is a slow exchange for a refurbished product an acceptable way to operate?

When this happens to me, which seems to be every few weeks, I find that going into the app and selecting a different clock face solves the problem. It's a dumb workaround that shouldn't be necessary but it gets the job done.

My device's display stops appearing but will continue to sync and pushing the button makes it pulse once.
I just tried the workaround here, using the app to change the clock face, and after selecting the new one, the device displays again.

Not sure what happened. according to the app there should be 70+% left of the battery charge. As part of my health insurance we are given 3 challenges to obtain every day and for everyone that we meet we will get $1.00 for my HSA. This is really hurting that.
Thanks

If you are still having this issue change the clockface from the app. It fixed it for me, there is some bug in their code that causes it once you change it to a diffrent clockface you can swap it back to whatever you want to.

I went into the app to change it but couldn't find any for inspire HR. Only Versa models. I know when I first signed up at the beginning of January there were some but now they don't come up

I have only had mine a few weeks also.
I am able to sync it.
However the only thing showing on my face is my cat icon and time.

My screen just randomly stopped working too (battery was at half full and it continued to sync to my phone and the buzzer worked. When I put it on the charger, it would not show the charging status, though it buzzed. The app showed the charging status though). It is less than 2 months old. I tried changing the clock face in the app like other posters suggested and the display came back on after the clock face refresh. I wonder if everyone having the problem was using the same clock face. I had mine on the Stats Heavy one (switched it to Raccon). Either way, clearly a glitch on the fitbit end. Hopefully it will be fixed and the Fitbit support folks will post on this thread with the results.

I was using the default one it had when I received it. I changed it to Stats Heavy, and the display reappeared.

This is most definitely the solution in my case - thanks!

This worked. I just got mine for Christmas 2019. I would think Fitbit should have fixed a known issue by then.

How often should I have to restart? It completely destroys amy ability to get long term trends when my device dies without warning.

Same here only no smile- no nothing. It vibrates and tracks data, but the screen is dead. It is precisely three months old. It only sort of did what I needed. Definitely not inclined to recommend to anyone.

Well mine made it about a month and now the screen has no display. Seems like a common theme. Alarming how many have this problem. Not impressed with the product. May be my last one.
