I updated to iOS 13.1 yesterday and now my Fitbit inspire HR will not sync. I’ve gone through all of the suggested troubleshooting including; updating Fitbit, restart phone/Fitbit, turning Bluetooth on/off, force sync. On my phone, my Fitbit shows up as being connected to Bluetooth and Bluetooth is on.

How frustrating, @KRM420 ! iOS 13 has caused a variety of problems. The issue is that Apple released the update with out providing key information to third parties, such as Fitbit. I see on my iPhone that 13.1 is already available. Have you tried upgrading to that? Hopefully that will help.

Thanks for the suggestion, I corrected the original post. It was 13.1 that I installed that seems to have caused the problem.

I’m having the same problem with my Fitbit Alta. I tried all the same troubleshooting. It stopped giving me call and text notifications after iOS 13 so I installed iOS 13.1 hoping that would be the fix but it’s still not working.

If you go to Settings, then bluetooth, select the device and hit the i. Then turn on the Share System Notifications. That should take care of it!!!

I had same problem 1st go to Bluetooth and make it forget your Fitbit. Then got to your Fitbit app and get rid of it on the app once it disappears hit set up and go thru the steps to set it up again it will then search for the Bluetooth and set that up also once it’s all done you should be ok haven’t had a problem since.

I will let you know In detail what I did to get my flex to work. I was ready to throw it in the garbage but did finally get it working.
1. Uninstall the fit bit app
2. Reinstall it
3. Log in to the new app
it will ask if you want your Bluetooth on. Of course you say yes.
4. Tap your Fitbit until it vibrates. It will sync after that.
This took less than 5 minutes but a few hours to figure it out.

Thank you so much for everyone who took the time to list all the steps.
My issue was fixed after I changed on my phone settings->notifications->messages->Show Previews to When unlocked.
I am not sure what if iOS upgrade changed but change above has gotten notifications to work. Hope this helps someone else.
