I just got my Fitbit Inspire in the mail and was so excited to set it up, however I cannot to get it to sync to my phone no matter what I do! I have the fitbit and my phone both plugged in. I have tried quitting the app, restarting my phone, and re-connecting to bluetooth. My fitbit is on but won't connect. Help!

I have the Fitbit Inspire (not the HR). I followed your steps as listed (multiple times) and it WILL. NOT. CONNECT. I've got the most recent version of the app, I rebooted my phone (Samsung S6), I rebooted the Inspire, turned bluetooth off and on - all, multiple times. I've been at this since I got it 3 days ago. Ready to send it back as I cannot get it to work!

I’m on day 2.
Jumped through same hoops but on iOS.
Same issues.
I’m done with Fitbit.

Thank you for this information. Removing my Inspire HR from my iPhone Bluetooth settings allowed it to Pair with the Fitbit app.

Thank you. That was they only thing I didn't try. Now I at least am getting it to set up, we'll see how the update goes, that's what messed it up to begin with. Mine was fine until I tried to do the update!

I was getting really frustrated until I tried your suggestion. After many, many tries of pairing my Inspire to my iPhone Xr, I started all over. This time, instead of selecting "Inspire" I selected "Inspire HR" (as per your instruction) and it was an immediate connection. It paired within seconds. It also downloaded and installed the latest firmware automatically. Fitbit needs to include your suggestion in their Startup manual. It'll help many customers save their sanity. THANK YOU!

Just got Inspire HR, trying to connect it to my iPhone 6 (all latest updates) Screen on Inspire just shows www.fitbit.com/setup Been there tried that, didn't work. Lots of talk online about "forget this device". I haven't even been able to get the Bluetooth to find this device.
Can't reset the Fitbit, press for 5 or 10 or 15 seconds...nothing happens.
This is a joke, should be a straightforward process, how can fitbit not know this is an issue before sending them out to the shop floor

I have the Inspire without HR. It also has issues with syncing with my iPhone, though my Alta did not have any issues. I turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, restart the Fitbit App. Sometimes I have to do that 4 or 5 times and then the Inspire will sync. Does pairing as Inspire HR fix this?

Same thing, I tried literally everything and when I changed it to an Inspire HR setup it worked.
