After updating my iPhone 6s+ to iOs 13 and updating my Versa I am now getting Active Call Notifications, meaning when I initiate a phone call I get a notification that there is an active call. I have not been able to find anything anywhere on how to turn this feature off. I still want the incoming call notifications to come through so turning off calls all together doesn't help me. Is anyone else receiving these notifications? And if so, has anyone found a way to turn them off?
Still don't see why we can't have the option to turn off active call notifications.
I don't keep my phone in my pocket and don't have children who play with my phone so there's no way anyone could or will make a call without my knowledge.
I know if I'm making a call, I don't need fitbit watch telling me I'm doing what I already am aware of. Having an option to turn it off would be great.
I just called customer service. Those overseas geniuses just said you can turn off all notifications. Great answer. Apple Watch in the fall here I come.
Please fix this, Fitbit! Active call notifications are unnecessary, incoming call notifications are helpful. It’s obviously been an issue on multiple device typed for over a year.
Totally agree this is a nuisance and an unnecessary alert for a outgoing call you initiated. This feature should be redesigned to only apply to incoming calls. Also, it would be nice to have an option to view battery level differently on the Charge 4. It is too small at the top of the scroll. Ugh!
I am having problems with this currently, over a year after the original post...Fitbit: Please Fix This! We don’t want to turn off call notifications altogether, just the “active call” notifications. They are super annoying.
I just bought a new inspire 2, have the latest software and I still don't have a setting for this to be changed. It is incredibly annoying. Is fitbit doing anything to resolve this? Looks like it will just be ignored and we will have to live with it.
It is unbelievable that this still hasn't been addressed. I have a Versa and this is still an issue in June of 2021. I can't believe this was brought up almost two years ago and Fitbit never did anything about it. I feel like I've had a similar issue with Fitbit customer service before, saying there will be a fix and never actually having anything happen.
Thanks for the post and shockingly sad that when I scrolled to the last page of this string, two years later, there is no resolution. I have turned off my notifications. One less bit of data until they get this fixed. That should be some motivation for a major tech company! 😂
I ended up buying and Apple Watch.
Best AnswerThanks. I had one and actual found it to be too much. Too much connecting. I gave it to my 85 year old Mom and she loved it! And it was heavy on my small wrist. Really like the new “Luxe” as it doesn’t look as horrible as the old Fitbits. Just hope they get around to fixing it. Not hopefully so just turned off the phone notifications. Forcing me to disconnect! Not a bad thing. Maybe they shouldn’t fix it. Lol!
Best AnswerWow. Just got a luxe. I like how it looks and feels, but the active call reminders are insane. I don’t need my Fitbit to notify me that I’m in a call every couple minutes. It is overalerting, which will lead to alert fatigue. Once alert fatigue sets in, I’m sure I’ll start missing things I DO need to know about. Considering I depend on my Fitbit to help me manage my work meeting schedule, this is really important for me. It is also disheartening that this is a 2 year old problem. I had a charge2 before and it didn’t have this issue. Please fix this!!!!!
